Eureka Collision Center, Inc. - Eureka Jennifer Steele: Beware!!!! This Company does not take accountability for their actions. I would give them zero stars if I could. I took my vehicle to Eureka Collision on Sept. 16th to have hail damage repaired. At first everything seemed to go smoothly, and I would have loved to give this business a good review but when I went to pick my car up it had Red/maroon color over-spray all over the hood and driver side of my vehicle and a couple chips where in the paint that wasn’t there before. When I brought it to their attention, they said they wondered where the paint came from because they supposedly had not painted anything red in color while my car was there but said no worries, they would clay bar it and remove the over-spray and fix the tiny chips. When I returned the next day, they had removed most of the overspray except on the door handles and did not fix the chips but also scrubbed the finish off the trim around the windows. Instead of nice new black trim it is dull and has gray color scrub marks all over it. I was livid, I called my insurance company immediately because this work was an insurance claim, and this place was on their select service list. When the claims department called Eureka Collision to ask them what happened they stated that they noticed the trim looked damaged but didn’t know how that happened and it must have been faulty material. My trim did not look like that when I dropped it off. My vehicle is a 2021 and looks horrible now because they messed it up so bad. The hail damage was only $1400 in damages and the trim damage is over $2500. I am still working with my insurance company to solve this issue, but Eureka Collison will not take responsibility for their actions. They have tried to say they are not responsible for the paint damage or the trim. But why would a repair shop agree to fix something they didn’t do? (Fixing the overspray) Wouldn’t they have noticed the overspray before they worked on it if it was already there? They admitted to wondering where the overspray came from and took my vehicle to the car wash to try and clean it off but when it didn’t come off, they assumed it wasn’t from them because their paint would have washed off. (That doesn’t really make sense to me) The fact of the matter is, I dropped off my vehicle with ONLY hail damage. Now I have more issues than I did before. I will NEVER take my vehicle back to this place. I saw another review that said this place doesn’t pay attention to detail. Well, that seems to be true. I chose to get the work done there because they were on the select service list and recommended my insurance and I wanted to support a small local business. This place also had good reviews. This was a big mistake; I would never recommend this company to anyone. If you want a company to do work on your vehicle and get it back worse than it was in the first place, go here. I wanted to make this review so that others know that if this place makes a mistake or messes anything up, they will not take responsibility.
