2 /5 Janelle Hammond: I wish I could give more stars because I love the styles here but a lot of the staff is extremely rude. I went in today to use my store credit and the $10 off coupons I had received from shopping over Christmas. I had 6 of these coupons. The manager, Kelly (? I want to say her name is because that was what was on the receipt) told me it was a policy that only two coupons can be used per customer. But I was given 6 over Christmas. I brought that to her attention and I said it’s kind of on them that they gave that many coupons out…. I should be able to use them because they were given to me. Some other sales woman interjected and argued with me about how she wouldn’t want to lose her job over making an exception for me (over $60 - really? Your boss must be pretty mean if they’re going to fire you over some coupons the store themselves gave out). Which by the way, they blamed other sales women saying it must have been a mistake whoever gave them to me. But I got them all from separate visits around the holidays because I came back multiple times and made purchases. I got the coupons from spending money if you’re following. Anyway, this woman with a short haircut with dyed pink tips continued to argue with me getting visibly upset and was like “you don’t have to buy these items, that’s your choice!” Wow. You’re seriously so good at sales. That’s definitely how you get people to buy things. Also - not helpful at all. I want the items. I just want to honor a coupon that was literally given to me from the people who work at this store. At this point I had to tell her, as she was getting more upset with me, “I am done talking to you”. Because seriously, stop talking to me about nonsense. I wonder if this business is having financial troubles because why are you arguing with a customer over a a few coupons?
I really want to like this store and unfortunately I have to go back because I still have some store credit leftover and two more $10 coupons. I seriously wish I could use them online because every time I go into this store, someone has an attitude or they’re pissed off about something and I’m just trying to shop. I understand if they were upset about having to do a return for me after Christmas (hence how I got the store credit in the first place) but that’s also their job. Also they aren’t losing out on any money because they’re not actually refunding anything. Store credit is store credit. So I do not understand the attitudes of these sales people. I feel bad every time I shop here and is that really how you want good paying customers to feel?
Also - don’t bother sending customer service emails. They don’t answer them. This business does not want to help their customers at all. Hopefully next time I go in, the women will be nicer. If they are, I’ll change my review. I really doubt it though. I will say, Kelly did help me out and she let me use 4 of the coupons. She was much nicer to talk to and still had a smile on her face, even if it was fake. So I appreciate that. I don’t want my next visit to be my last but it might be.
