Mark W If you need an attorney in Southern Illinois, I recommend Adam Bragee. Hes a professional, experienced negotiator who cares about his clients and keeps you informed every step of the way. I was in St Clair County from LA when I was injured in an accident with an 18-wheeler on I-255 that totaled my car. I tried to handle the claim myself but was in over my head trying to and got the run around from the trucking company that caused the accident. Since I was back home in LA, I finally went to a local law firm and they recommended Adam because they said I needed a lawyer where the accident happened in IL. Once Adam took over dealing with the adjusters and my financial recovery, I only had to worry about my physical recovery. Adam handled all of the negotiations for me and was able to make me whole again financially. I couldnt be more satisfied with his handling of my claim!

Luke Lack Shocked this place has a 4.5 star review. I called in asking for a price to have documents drafted for a simple for sale by owner (FSBO) agreement, one friend buying a home from another. It’s a very simple and common agreement, most places have a standard flat rate for this. I was told that the attorney would have to talk to me to even give me a price, but to even talk to the attorney I’d have to pay to have a meeting with them at $300 per hour, as a “strategy meeting.” Clearly a scam, is this even a real law firm?

Lennon Grinols I see others got the same treatment I got. Do not pay this man, especially upfront!! He went from “what can I do for you?” Wanting to work with me, to “I’ll knock it out next week.” Which never happened .. This man treated me with disrespect to the absolute max. (Texts to prove it) Talking to me like I’m stupid. Took 2 years to close my case. The past year I was stressing I needed this done (pissing him off) and supposedly he closed it up and just didn’t tell me. He also didn’t even finish everything and was saying I need another lawyer. He’d get mad when I wanted to call and discuss my case. I was so upset about not knowing what was going on that i made an appointment with him. Nothing got done in this appointment other than his endorsement to me about Joe Biden. Took 2 years Bad communication Disrespectful Doesn’t finish the job

Amber Woodson She was horrible. Please please please do not use her if you are going through a divorce especially if you are Military. During the consult she acted like she knew about the Military. She didn’t even know anything about TSP. That cost me $3,000 because she had no idea what she was doing when it came to TSP. I got charged the taxes when my ex husband should have been charged them. She talks like she knows what she is doing but I honestly think she is clueless. During the divorce she just did what my ex husband’s lawyer said. She would come out like she did something spectacular and it was spectacular for my ex not me. It was during COVID so that made it harder. She didn’t fight at all. I would basically do all the work for her. I told her the police department had the reports did she get them no I had to call to get them. We needed paperwork and she told me to call the court. The lady working at the courthouse said this is you lawyers job make her do it. You would have a better outcome representing yourself than her representing you.

Andrew McFarlane Mitchell Highlander is an amazing legal practice. I spent the last few of the most stressful years of my life with this firm going through my complicated divorce that originated in another state and was very contentious. Jamie Mitchell and her staff are more than just knowledgeable, but savvy with regard to divorce proceedings. I felt they cared for me and what I was going through, but more importantly they showed at every turn that they knew what they were doing and then some. They are professional and direct with expectations which I really appreciated. I was never told what they thought I wanted to hear but what was happening and how we proceeded from that point. That was super refreshing. Jamies competence is so evident and her manner so easy to understand; I had no problem feeling comfortable with her counsel and always felt like I knew what was happening. daniel rader The other reviews indicating the poor communication are 100% accurate. Not only is the communication bad, but also noted in the other reviews he will drag the case out for years and run the cost up with no refund. I would not recommend using him, you will not get the time given to you that is needed with the work load he has taken on and he will admit to that after you pay your retainer. I am in a worse position now then when I hired him over 3 years ago.

Charlie Wilson I would not recommend this attorney. As others have noted he does not communicate and makes plenty of false promises. If you do talk to him, he is quick to tell you he is working on other cases and makes you fell like your divorce and child custody is not a priority. His office does not send information youve provided for the case in a timely and professional manner. It will cost you more. I would not wish this attorney on my worst enemy or opposing side as youll incur extra charges related to the constant follow up and no response or resolution.
