April Miller Alicia Caplan was my lawyer from this firm. We lost the custody battle BUT! This woman is amazing. Her drive, work eithic, knowledge of how to navigate the legal system are amazing. She makes solid factual arguments and also lends a listening ear to her clients concerns and feelings through it all. Not all lawyers do that. I 100% recommend her. Steve Miller I thought when you hire a defense lawyer they were hired to look out for your best interests, instead Brick was looking out for the arresting officer and the town of Cortland IL. After the officer who had multiple past charges against him, had boke in my home and assaulted me after someone made a false actuation 911 call about me. Brick decided to stall the case for 22 months so i couldnt start a case against the officer and the town of Cortland IL. Because of the 2 year stature of limitations.
