Yalan P I stepped into Stock, Carlson,& Associates LLC. 7 years ago. I started with John Stock whom was introduced by a friend who turns out only thinking with his head below his belt. John showed very nice at beginning. Then I found out hes the worst of the worst attorney and useless in all senses. Also he charged me even for reading his email to me when he was the one asked me to talk in his office. John charged very high compared to other attorneys in the office. He is also the cheapest person in the office because he will Not upgrade office equipments

M M Dont believe any of the reviews. This attorney was referred to me though Dupage Legal Aid. He was supposed to be a no retainer. When I met with him, he told me if I dont give him $500 immediately, he wont help me. " Write me a check for $500 right now or I wont write the motion for you" were his exact words. I lost my child. Bradley Ford Warning!! Do not trust! Tellent Defense and Family, act nice but are in it for the money. I wish I had listened to the bad reviews when making my decision on hiring a family lawyer. My case has been going on for 10 months now with little or no help from Corey during my case. I pulled my case files and it proves that nothing has been done on his end other than showing up without ever saying a word. Your pretty much paying for Corey to show his face. 10 months later and Im still dealing with everything like it was the first day. No guidance, No work done and very unreliable. Even after spending a lot of money paying for his services he withdrawals from the case with no care in the world. (I found this out when I pulled my own records. He did not even give me a heads up) Corey was happier to take the money and run. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Find a lawyer that will be on your side and help during your difficult time. If you refuse to heed my warning expect your case to go on longer than it needs to and spending A LOT of money.

Tim Ferrell They successfully completed an adoption for me. Spoke with them over the phone initially no consultation fees, etc. they took the time to answer my questions. I called them months later they honored the same price they offered me originally. They took care of everything so well, we walked in the court. We were there for 15 minutes and it was done. I would recommend them to anyone. I also called around probably six different lawyers and went back to them. I’m glad I did.

Robert Mingoia I cant say enough about the service I received from this office. My attorney, Jim Kane walked me through the SSI Disability appeals process from start to successful finish. At all points during my appeal he explained what needed to be done, what forms to fill out, answered all my questions and addressed all of my concerns. I recommend him highly to anyone having to appeal a social security denial of benefits letter. I never would have been able to do it myself.

Syed Adeel I had spoken to a lot of attorneys before I got a chance to speak to Ben Kurtovic. Typically in the world of traffic attorneys, nobody even bothers to try to give you a sense of “I know whats going on”. Or “heres what we can do together” Matter of fact, they feed off the worry in your voice. The more you panic the better it is for them. They made it sound like a basic speeding ticket meant id almost have to go to prison! I am glad I found Ben Kurtovic! Had full confidence the minute I spoke to him. He knew what the situation was, he knew exactly what the need was. Then he told me clearly what his approach would be. And that’s exactly what happened. He resolved the matter immediately, and reduced it to a mere basic fine. Couldn’t be more pleased.

Jeff Louis Let me start by honestly saying I never leave bad reviews as I dont believe in it but our experience with this law firm justifies it. Our mom passed away in November and we were referred to this firm by the attorney that originally created her will. The attorney and assistant both misspelled our moms name even after being corrected multiple times, which I found disrespectful but we moved on. We had a preliminary phone conversation to discuss how the probate process would play out. At no point did we discuss a fee schedule or sign anything related to that, so it was assumed this was a complimentary phone call and we would discuss the overall fee of the case at a later point. After the phone call we were unable to get a hold of the attorney even though we reached out several times via phone and email. After three weeks I sent an email out of respect letting them know we would be finding a different attorney to work with as they had obviously not taken on the matter. Of course at this point they responded, attempting to blame us for the lack of correspondence, which is completely false. Fast forward to now and we receive a bill from the law firm... with both my moms first and last name misspelled. Disrespectful and dishonest behavior across the board during an incredibly difficult time

JMJ H Steer clear of this firm! Don’t use. They took my retainer after review of my case and failed to help in any manner. The communication with Eric was distant and non engaging, he was happy to accept terms and then quickly shifted hurting me as a client in many ways thereafter - his attitude towards his client was very unprofessional and he was very rude. It was the worst choice to trust them and I cannot recommend this firm for anything contract, IP, or any services in which it’s going to take diligence and effort to facilitate.
