Carissa Jurentkuff Great place to easily get a degree. Not a great place to get a valuable education. Classes are inexpensive, the material is easy, they have resources, staff is friendly and if you are a midwesterner then this is a great step up. If you’re from a coastal state you’re going to feel like you’re back in the 6th grade

Brock1023 This is an amazing community college; I learned a lot of useful skills and knowledge while attending. I went for the Automotive Technology program and would not recommend it more. It is by far one of the best programs at the campus. The instructors are very outgoing and understanding. Tom and Todd run one of the best college automotive programs in central Illinois. Without them I would not be the technician I am today. I would highly suggest going through this program if you attend or plan on going to Illinois Central College.

Logan Dollar Being a student during the pandemic is hell and they should have never opened till it was done. Its constantly being swarmed with work during a time where mental health is key. They expect you to get it all done and be able to run to the school often for notes. It screws over many students who cant learn digitally and should be taken into consideration before enrolling since this is how they function in a time of crisis

Kobe O Im currently a students here, and this is 0 bias. I hate it... A few good teachers here and there, but overall trash. Peoria doesnt know when and where to put there effort and money, therefore leaving our city completely unbalanced. Need to get rid of some kids, and use different types of discipline. They, the district, say "we cant punish the kids or the parent swill yell at us" to us, but school alone is the punishment. They give it in the wrong way. They display anger at kids by just saying "Do it on your own, you obviously dont need my help", an we respond as yes, we do! To bad we just dont want it... But thats in fault of our city, Peoria Illinois being so instable itself the kids think itll all be fine. Fix it please, I want to grow up and stay here with my family! But with the way things are now Id like to move, far away! thats the end of my rant. KO

Christian Johnson These great teachers at Trewyn Elementary, and all the other schools, deserve air condition in all classrooms. How do you expect the children to learn and teachers to teach in these conditions. Please allow everyone to be successful in a conformtable environment.

Talitha Smith Dont recommend this program at all for a child with developmental disabilities. Like autism, ADHD , and etc. What does the disability coordinator do ? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Law states they have two weeks to Answer for an IEP. Its been 3 months. The lady thats over the educational program gaslit me by saying theres children thats been on a waiting list 4-5 months. She blamed another organization for it. Besides that, they need a new program coordinator or CEO to go through everything and get rid of people. Wish I could say more. Another time.

Brandy Kind The teacher in my son’s classroom was not prepared at all to deal with an autistic child. I submitted ways that his therapist taught me to work with him to help manage his emotions and fear of change but she was continuously rude and sent him home every day for allergies that were listed on his medical file. She spoke rudely to me and I made multiple complaints about her to the director. I requested he be evaluated for special needs, this was ignored. The teacher lied repeatedly and I continuously had to correct her statements. She stated I provided no support regardless of me getting my child into play therapy, going to family sessions separately with a child behavior specialist to help better manage with him, signing up for ABA training to better accommodate, and requesting family therapy sessions through the school. That woman should be fired. I finally pulled my child from the school. If your child is suspected of autism, I do not recommend.

Steven Townsend Failure. They expect K-4 to stand outside for up to 40 minutes for the bus drivers but expect the bus drivers to give them no leeway. Their response to this? "The law allows it." Well, the law also allows the people to fire those who dont do their jobs.

CHARLIE RIPPEL My experience with the Peoria Public Schools Transportation Department has been nothing but frustrating. The buses are often late or overcrowded, and there’s very little communication with parents. The staff seems overwhelmed and untrained, and I’ve witnessed unsafe behavior go unaddressed. Its clear the department lacks proper management and accountability. I wouldn’t trust them to reliably or safely transport children.eoria Public School District Department of Transportatio

Preciosa Gonzales Worse is transportation for children. From corporate to the bus drivers. Unprofessional and rude while dealing with other peoples children. Everyone involved needs a new profession. My child is a priority and should be transferred safely to and from school.
