While it may not be as large or well-known as some other universities, it has a solid reputation for its education programs, business school, and the sciences. The campus is also noted for its affordability and strong community feel.

Zachary Samples Eastern Illinois University truly is my home away from home. The faculty truly care about the students. You are not just an ID number. The faculty know your name, and they teach in small class sizes across the board. Plus campus is safe and very vibrant! Overall, it is a great university with a strong emphasis on small class sizes and close interactions with faculty members beginning your freshman year. I am so glad that I chose to attend EIU!
