Aquilina Eliah (Elle) UPDATE! So I normally dont ever re-review places more than once but once again this place is the BEST! Its been a while since Ive had my hair done- had a baby and unfortunately my old stylist Alex also left, but it meant that I got to meet Faith who was phenominal! I was looking for a caramel-y brown dimensional look with some cute curtain bangs and she absolutely nailed it! Love it so much, and looking forwards to going back again! (Old Review) Alex is an awesome colorist & stylist! Took the time to make sure she knew exactly what I wanted -since I am truthfully bad with descriptions- and it came out exactly how I wanted it. Will continue to go to her for all my hairstyling & coloring needs :)

milan cotton Been going for over a year, wouldn’t let anyone else touch my eyebrows! I get compliments on them all the time. They do an excellent job and always listen to my wants and needs for my brows. Always affordable as well.

CariLynn Amazing women at this salon. I walked in hoping for an instant appointment and they were able to get me in quickly. My lash and eyebrow tint turned out amazing. My brows were also threaded as part of the service! My first time experience. It wasnt painful and looks super clean. I recommend them completely! Thank you.

Rashawn Ivy I’m truly disappointed. I’ve been a long time loyal customer of jiya since she started in the mall many many years ago. Normally I stick to eyebrow threading but about a month ago I tried waxing services front and back she did great she was gentle with my area. However the second time was terrible she made me feel unwanted and uncomfortable I won’t be going back to her for my waxing services. P.s it’s very rude to talk about your customers in your language.

Zoe Zhou This is my worst experience in restaurants, salons or any kind of stores in Champaign, their attitudes deserve 0 stars. I was planning to do hair cut but decide not to do that after talking with the hairstylist. I was ready to pay for the service fee because the hairstylist did dry my hair for around 5-7 mins, which is the only thing he did. The lady asked me to pay $19 and when I was trying to ask her why it is so expensive, she just kept arguing that it is the price they provided on board, but it is not. As they said, hair washing + hair styling combo costs $19. And the lady insisted that this price is set by U.S law, which is ridiculous. She even tried to frightened me that she is going to call the police. I would be happier if she can do that. I dont care about the money, if they can provide reasonable explanation I would pay that in a second without even one word. But they did not, they kept frightening me and ignoring everything we are trying to discuss. In a word, this salon refuses to fairly provide service, the only thing they are digging into is how to gain as much as possible money from each single customer. I would never ever come to this salon again and I also strongly recommend my friends not to come as well. They destroyed their reputation by their own hands. *I never rejected to pay for the service and I was the first one to say I will pay it although I am not planning to cut hair. You never listened to what I am trying to say. The problem is the price you were asking for is unreasonable and you denied that.

Rosee Lin I asked multiple time to keep my hair long, but he cut more than 2/3inch the reason is I cant keep the dry hair. Hes rude, and I show him a picture(hair style)and he seems like not happy and didnt focus what hair style that i wanted. He cut my hair just like what he want, the results turned out just nothing like the pic either. Not happy with his service. Me and my husband came this salon couple time, but we wont come again. Disappointed

stephanie nieves Our wedding was in Oklahoma City and we were lucky enough to have the Hansen team! I knew from the very beginning I wanted Tonya to be a part of our special day (in more ways than you even know!) and that included bridal hair. I sent Tonya photos of what I wanted for my hair a few months before and her excitement about the look was unmatched. The morning of she did a blow out and then styled it. I have a ton of hair that is naturally curly and she worked magic! It was sleek, curled perfectly, and held the entire day into the night (even in that OK humidity). There are very few people I trust to do anything with my hair and she is one of them. This was by far the easiest part of the day and the one thing I did not stress about at all. There are no words to express how beautiful she made me feel! THANK YOU!!

Aaricka Hellberg I was really disappointed with my experience. The stylist I had was friendly and professional, however once I got home and style my hair, I wasnt happy with the color. I asked for subtle, blended highlights and there are very visible lines in my hair between my natural color and the highlight. I booked an appointment with a note that I wanted to come back in for a touch up. I got covid, so tried to reschedule online, and called twice and left voicemails and no one responded. Im assuming the salon ignored me off because I wanted to have my hair color fixed. Really poor experience all around.

Courtney Strole Recently used Hansen and Co for my beauty services for my wedding and cannot recommend them enough! Kirsten did all the makeup for myself & bridesmaids and Allyson did all the hair. They were so friendly and made the morning of run so smoothly. Everyone’s hair and makeup looked absolutely amazing!

Nancy I highly recommend Loni. She is professional, attentive, artistic, and skilled. Loni cares about her clients and answers questions concerning color, styling and recommendations for products. I trust Loni with my hair, and always tell her to do her magic. The end results: my hair comes out gorgeous each time. I have driven over 2 hours to see her for hair care and brow wax and tint. She is amazing.

Jennifer Kosharsky Loni has been my makeup artist/ stylist since 2010. We met in Chicago but I now travel 3 hours to see her every month and it’s completely worth it. She is my one-stop shop for all things beauty and it’s so easy to schedule using her online app. Loni is also such a great resource for product recommendations. I love her as a person and she’s a very talented and skilled artist.

Loun Youn I don’t recommend you to go to that place, she is a rude person, does not want to give me a choice for my sons haircut she said, instead you need to come back every month for a haircut she said that everyone want to have a short haircut and that way he’s gonna stay longer to come back to her that means she will have less business

Louis David Keith has been cutting my hair for years now and hes the best. Im in a business where its important to look professional, but I still want to have a cool personal style. He always knows just what to do, and what really works for me. So if youre a guy whos looking for a stylist who "gets it", Id recommend Keith Gaines at Deva every time!

Av R McKenna is a super kind, spunky, knowledgeable stylist. She listens and works with me to pin down what I want to make happen and is always down for some fun experimentation! She only sells me products when I’ve asked for a recommendation or otherwise very obviously didn’t know what I was doing and needed guidance. I appreciate this so much because many other places simply shill out whatever they have a contract with as much as possible. But McKenna 1) wants my hair to look it’s best as her #1 priority and 2) understands having tighter finances and therefore not being able to buy super expensive products that only last two weeks. She’s also in general just very friendly, nonjudgmental, safe to talk to on a plethora of topics, and fun! (Also, she’s willing to wear a mask on request which is maybe not as important to a lot of people now a days but I was on a short term immunosuppressant last I saw her so having her ask my preference and then follow through when I answered was so comforting and really made me feel like she actually cared about and respected me.)

Charlie Miller Kyle was fantastic! Took my appointment on short notice with a great attitude and gave me a great haircut and advice on maintenance. Thanks to Kyle and McKenna both for saving me in a pinch!

Alejandra Pires I like to get my legs waxed once a year, and McKenna has become my go-to person. She always does a great and thorough job, and her pricing is reasonable. It’s always a pleasure to see her and talk to her, too. She’s a smart, friendly person, and a top-notch professional.
