Tina Hammerschmidt Nice Salon, very clean & modern. All the ladies are very friendly & talented

Connie Lemon When I showed up for my appointment yesterday, only a couple of the hair stylists were in masks. The rest of the staff and ALL the customers were without masks. Covid is still very active in our community and we still have at least one Covid death a week. This is an unsafe business that does not respect the health and safety of its staff or customers. I will not be back

Sandra Miller If this place is now called Zizis nails save your money. I went today and told them 3 times to trim and file my pedicure better. They acted like they couldnt understand me! Waste of money. I could have done them better myself!!!

Terry and Jackie Keilman My stylist, Kelly, is new to me for my last 2 haircuts. I have described to her the look I want (differently) each time. I love my hair each time! She commented to me today that she guesses Im stuck with her. I said "No...YOURE stuck with ME!" I think she really listens and really knows what shes doing.

Heather Harrington I have gotten my nails done by Heather countless times & they have always been incredible. I currently now live in Colorado and I have a hard time finding someone that could do an amazing job like her..nonetheless, a hard gel mani! 10/10 recommend!

Annie Marie I had a color touch up done, and style. Upon getting home, I took a shower. My hair got misted with water, and immediately smelled like burned hair. I had to re-wash. It smelled horrible. I let it air dry, as I was in a hurry. (Still smelled somewhat burned) The ends started to “dry” first. They were like straw. I didn’t realize the full extent until the next day when it had completely dried. In some spots over 2 inches of damage. I went to brush my hair and it was breaking off and look like a man shaved his beard. (I had just had a fresh trim at another salon a week prior, and my hair was in good condition) I was in the process of growing it out. Yesterday, I had to have over 2 inches taken off in the majority of the top front of my hair. There is still some damage that will have to wait until it grows more to cut. I stopped in and spoke to the owner. She took my name and number and that was that. * Also my color continues to come out with each shampoo. That’s not normal for permanent color.

Tiffany Lanczycki Brittanee is amazing and runs and very well organized and clean salon!! She is very friendly and pays attention to what you want. She(and her team) isnt "money" focused, trying to push product, dye your hair etc; and I am one who is very particular about who touches my hair. She and her team have exceptional hospitality when you enter the salon until you leave the salon. They truly care about each individual client that walks through their doors. Every time I make it back into town I ALWAYS call and make an appointment to get my hair done.

Megan Roper The entire staff is so nice and they make you feel welcome the second you walk in. The salon set-up/decor is so warm and classy! They have a cute coffee station and very comfy chairs! Sarah B is AMAZING! Ive been going to her for years and have never once had any complaints. She is quick, gentle, and usually knows what I want before I do. Shes amazing with colors (Ive had lots of them), incredible with childrens cuts, and can knock out an up-do like no ones business! Dont hesitate to stop out and let all of these lovely ladies pamper you!

Carla Jones I cant say that I hated it because I was never serviced. I walked in and was told there was a wait. I sat down and started talking to the customer to my right. I asked her what was that overwhelming smell in there. She said it has to be the chemicals that are used when doing nails. I sat for maybe 10 minutes but I couldnt tolerate the smell. I felt like I wanted to throw up! I got up and left. Ive been to several nail salons in the Bradley/Kankakee area but this one needs some serious ventilation for that strong chemical odor. Ill never go back there!

Shannon Shelby My husband called here to see where they are located. A woman on the phone told him they weren’t taking new clients, mind you my husband is a black man. Then I called, mind you I’m white, and asked for a new client appointment. They said I could get in next week!!! Can you say Prejudice?? How horrible! I will never go here and I will be letting EVERYONE I know about this salon!!!

Samantha I went to this salon recently for an acrylic manicure and the place started getting pretty packed when I showed up. The key was to get there early since it was Easter weekend but it was a pretty quick and efficient process. I really enjoyed this place and the variety of nail colors they offer. Will be trying to come back

Sarah V. I have been going here for years and havent had a bad experience until this week. Went for a mani/pedi and the lady didnt turn on the massage chair for me during my pedicure and when I got the paraffin wax, she put it on super hot and didnt even cool it off or ask me if it was okay. Then for the manicure, I was seated away from the person I came with, which was frustrating, but not the end of the world. The girl didnt ask what shape I wanted my nails, just decided for me on my shortest nail so there was no requesting different after. She then took out a electric sanding tool, which I told her I didnt want on my nails, she said it would only be on my cuticles, then she used it on my cuticles which was super painful compared to the soak and push Im used to. She still got it on my nails while doing it as well. Then she cut my cuticles and four of my fingers are tender to the touch now on them. She never introduced herself by name, but I think she wrote Nani on the receipt for the transaction. Was super disappointed and my cuticles look like garbage, which was the whole reason I went to a professional in the first place.

Samantha Rapson I’ve been coming to Tony for around 7 years now. He’s absolutely fantastic! He’s very patient with all my ideas & he always makes sure I’m happy when I leave. The salon is very clean, always! All the staff is very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend Diamond to anyone I come across!

alexis williams Morgan is the best nail tech in Illinois!!! She is phenomenal, my nails turned out better than I expected and I will never go to another nail tech again! She is so talented please book your appointment with her if you want the most beautiful nails ever!

Paula Ross Ive tried this place a couple of times now, and idk why I keep going back... sloppy work. This time I even said something but instead of taking off the polish and fixing it, they just paint on top, leaving it bumpy and messy. I also noticed the filling isnt even on some of the nails, top is filed but didnt bother to push the sides to fill down corners. Grrr. I rarely get my nails done but decided to go for my birthday...dont be me. Go somewhere else! Very disappointed.

Amalia Zavaleta I have been going to Tom for over 15 years. He is definitely not racist at all. I even take my daughter there and she loves going there never has she felt uncomfortable. He loves to joke around. People need to get lighten up. By the way I was the one he was joking with I’m Mexican and I say it with pride. People really need to mind their own business. This world has enough stuck up people. Relax.

Tina Tecalero I have been going to Tom’s Nails for 20 + years and I have had nothing but great service from them. Tom likes to joke but that’s all. He is by far Not a Racist! He was joking with his friend was all he was which she was Mexican and she did not take it personally because she knew he was joking around like normal. People should mind their business and stop starting so much drama all the time. And FYI, I’m Mexican too and I know how Tom plays, he likes to make people laugh is all. The End!

Gabriela Diaz First class salon experience. They have many types of services with qualified and experienced professionals. Its really a fantastic salon all around. The prices are a bit steep but you get what you pay for right? Never a complaint with any of the services Ive had done there. Ive had my hair done with Lucero there a few times and I would recommend her. She is very detailed and does a great job from start to finish.

Darci Geister I went to Jillian for a haircut today and she was fantastic! She listened to exactly what I wanted and the result was great! She even went the extra mile to educate me on styling tips & recommend hair care products that would work well for my hair type. Courtney does a wonderful job for no-chip manicures & the entire nail staff does wonderful pedicures as well! Highly recommend rumors for all your beauty needs!

Rennetta Smith Sanitation warning: my nail tech cut me multiple times around my nails. Then, while at least one spot was bleeding, brushed cuticle oil on the wound and told me he was sorry, but I was dry. Both the brush and oil are used for multiple customers. This is a health hazzard. I have had good experiences here before. Ive received a few cuts before. But this was just unacceptable.

Lorelaii They were very nice and I could tell were nervous to do the art in case I didnt like it but I honestly expected worse for what Im pretty sure is their first time doing the soccer/football so heres my nails in light and dark and me and my bf love them!! They were for him and I think they turned out amazing! It was 75 bucks too so such a steal tbh!
