Angel Dougherty I usually get my brows done and they do well. I got lashes for the first time over a month ago and it was an interesting experience. I go them done again today and way too much glue was used or something. My eyes were super irritated. I noticed glue under my upper lid that was actually rubbing my eye everytime I blink. I had to remove them.

Brittany Hit and miss here. Sometimes my eyebrows turn out good, other times they dont. Idk why people cant make them perfectly even like theyre supposed to be. Just left here the other day and 1 eyebrow was thicker than the other. Between here and couple other places I went to did the same thing. 1 will always be thicker/longer. Dont understand. If you cant do a perfect job, and be friendly, dont work where you work! Dont know if Ill return here. Also they never answer emails/Facebook.

Kandi Cockream Hailey is very good at what she does. Shes very knowledgeable at doing lashes and is very considerate of your time and making you comfortable. If you ever have any questions or concerns she never has a problem answering as many questions as you have. She is very sweet. I would highly recommend using her for your lash needs!

Tina J Hailey does my lashes extensions, and also dyes, and waxes my brows. They always turn out perfect. She never hurts me and makes the entire experience relaxing and fun. Highly recommend both Hailey and Taylor for all of your lash and brow needs. You want to feel beautiful book with them.

Dawn Krause Taylor does excellent work. Shes so gentle that I could sleep. I have been getting my lashed done for years with her. Highly recommend Taylor is you are thinking about getting extensions.

Aubrey Ehrman I love Megan so much she was so understanding of my questions my first time getting lashes and understanding of appointment changes, definitely recommend booking with her girls since she’s closing her business!

Olivia Bivens Hailey is absolutely fantastic. Not only is she super sweet, kind, and honest she does amazing work. I’ve never had a hybrid lash set but the work hailey did has made this my favorite set. Megan was also very kind and professional. I have had a fantastic experience across the board with this business and recommend the girls here 100%.

Katelynn Wiborg Hailey did an amazing job on my lashes!! Definitely will be going back to her!

Mary Mathewson Eikey All the ladies here are great. Good styles, reasonably priced and very pleasant to deal with.

Dana Stuedemann Michelle gave me one of the best cuts Ive had ever! And everyone here is super sweet.

Travis Misener Hair Biz is great. I went there for a while when I was kid and they were awesome. Theyre very personable and nice, and excellent at what they do. Just recently went back (the hairstylist I used to go to, Mel, was booked for weeks ahead of time because shes so good so I booked an appointment with Michelle instead), and she was fantastic. She did a great job. Shampoo, Conditioner, and even styled my hair after as well. $18 is not that much more expensive then the run of the mill places, if at all and it was the best haircut experience Ive had in years. My only complaint (which is hardly a complaint because Im just happy I found a good gel) is that she was all out of the gel she used in my hair that I asked for. But Ill be going back next week when the shipment comes in. 5 stars!

Danielle Love We did the couples massage tonight and it was absolutely amazing. They both did a fantastic job and I feel like a brand new person. I highly recommend the healing spirit to anyone and will most definitely be going back again.

Patricia Jones My first trip back to The Healing Spirit Wellness Spa since pre-covid. Their new location on Waverly Street is so warm and inviting. As a first time recipient of a Facial, Adele provided a most relaxing and thorough facial and Her expertise and professionalism was truly appreciated. I will definately be returning.

Kristie Mann Haven’t been here in a while and I’m jonesin for another amazing massage!!! Been here a couple times and I’ll never go anywhere else! Toni did a great massage! They were so personable and absolutely know their stuff!! 10/10!

Jessica Schmeltzer I got the best and most gentle haircut from Brittany! She knew exactly what I wanted from my description and it turned out really well. We had a great back and forth conversation throughout the haircut that made it feel quick and she put great care into making sure that the cut was up to her high standards. Will definitely be requesting her next time!

Mary E S So happy I found my new place for a great haircut! Clean salon and friendly staff. Michele was skilled and listened to what I wanted stylewise. She had awesome product knowledge too; finally found a product that works with my fine hair! Ill be back.

Jennifer Blades Really cool environment to get your hair done. Stephanie and the other women are fantastic and have GREAT taste in the environment and most importantly stylish hair. There is also a nice little area for kiddos to play should you not have a sitter. Although to be honest, you may want to treat yourself in this relaxing and friendly environment without little ones in tote if you can. You deserve it!

Hayley Alexander Megon did an amazing job with both mine and my daughters hair! Will definitely be back!

Lisa Marie Taylor I HIGHLY recommend Stephanie! She has done an absolute amazing job every time I have gone in. My hair has been damaged by others. Once I found Stephanie my hair has never been in better condition. She is friendly, professional and not about big city prices as others in the surrounding areas are. I have referred many to her and they are now life long clients. She is attentive to what you want and has a great creative mind if you want something fun. My boys love getting the fun cuts she does. All around great stylist. If you tell her shoulder length it is shouder length. If you tell her trim its a trim. My daughters hair was to her bottom we wanted a trim and I was so excited when it was a trim. My oldest daughter at another salon asked for a trim 6 inches gone. I trust her! She listens and you get exactly what you are wanting. If you are undecided she will talk with you show you different ideas and help you make a determination. You are not rushed you are her focus.

Michelle Lorenzen I saw Carly, and she was amazing! She gave me amazing calico color and my asymmetrical ear-length Bob. She also cut my sons hair. He is is a wheelchair, and it can be a challenge to maneuver him. She was fabulous!

Chelsea Henkel I travel to many states for my husbands job so finding a stylist is never easy. Once I found Joy I knew she was the one. My blonde girlies would understand why trusting is difficult. After having a new baby Joy gave me my glow back. Unfortunately I moved again and havent found another stylist who puts love and pride in their work like she did.

Dana Cryder I am so happy that I happened to find Joy - I started with a curly cut and have since gotten curly extensions. She has been so knowledgable and gone above and beyond to help me love my hair. The whole salon is a great addition to the Morris area!

Jody Burke I frequently visit The Glo Bar and I couldnt be happier with the experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable. The ambiance was clean and relaxing, which immediately set the tone for my visit. I opted for a waxing service and facial, and the esthetician was professional and attentive, ensuring that I was comfortable throughout the process. They explained everything and made sure I was okay, which I really appreciated. I also had my hair done, and the stylist did an amazing job! My hair has never felt healthier and looked so vibrant. Finally, I treated myself to a tan, and the results were fantastic. The color was natural and even, giving me that perfect sun-kissed glow. Overall, I had an incredible experience at the spa, and I cant wait to return for my next appointment! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to pamper themselves! Jenny, Destiny, and Cara are amazing!

Jin In Destiny is the best! I’ve been going to her for a while now and I can’t see myself trusting anyone else with my hair. I have hand tied extensions and the attention to detail, along with the time & care she invests to ensure that my hair looks just the way I want it before I leave is what keeps me coming back!

Rachel Heap These amazing ladies were able to squeeze me in the same day as my consultation despite all of the bookings with the holiday season. My hair did not turn out what I envisioned it to be after someone back in my college town did it. Tracy did a beautiful job at correcting it. Very thankful for this place and the wonderful staff.

J If you have curly hair you must see Abby!! I’ve never had my hair treated so nicely! Abby was able to show my true curl definition and cut my hair properly! She gave me tips and tricks about curly hair and she honestly left an impact in my life. I’ve never had an experience like that before in my life!!! Thank you so much Abby I love my new style :)

Amy Swanson Roots Hair Studio is a gem in downtown Morris, IL! The salon has such a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, and the ladies here are truly amazing. Taryn has been doing my hair for years, and she recently did extensions for me…I couldn’t be happier with the results! I always leave feeling great, and I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for top-notch hair care in a friendly, professional environment.

Angela Greve I tried ROOTS for the first time recently because they were advertising Bellami hair extensions. After being with my same stylist (who didnt offer extensions) - I was so nervous to make the switch. But decided to take a leap of faith! Erica did not disappoint. My K-tip extensions are flawless. My highlight was perfection. Im beyond pleased with my results and now Im wondering why I didnt do this sooner. I also feel their prices are more than fair and reasonable. Very good hours too! I would highly recommend trying ROOTS for your next hair do!

Christine Worst experience made even worse by terrible customer service! We treated my Mom to a Cut/Colour for her birthday. We chose The Strand as it had great reviews. We had arranged that what ever she wanted done we would pay. What we ended up paying for was a bad colour job, an atrocious hair cut and our Mom to leave crying on her birthday too scared to go back. Look at the picture, can you blame her? When notifying Jill at the salon how incredibly disappointed we all were, we were met with disbelief, defensiveness and a short timeline for our mother to return for them to try and correct it. No matter if you’re a salon, a restaurant or other business, you can’t always get it right, we understand this. How you acknowledge, treat your paying customers and try and rectify your mistakes however, is the true testament. Jill at The Strand failed this big time, and for that I would not recommend this business. We paid $200 to make my Mom cry on her birthday and embarrassed to leave the house.

Olivia Howlett Caitlin is the absolute best! Shes a hair magician. The salon itself is very nice - its comfortable, clean, and everyone has always been so sweet. I havent used anyone else here but I drive 1.5 hours out of my way to see Caitlin. ❤️

Lynn H. The worst experience I’ve ever had. Hair highlights meh. Look striped. My eyebrow wax was a disaster. I’m going on vacation with horrible marks and soreness. Have red marks, swelling, and pain. Can’t even cover it up because it’s too tender to put makeup on. Nicole said she hated the wax they had and told me she’d ripped a little skin on my right eye. My left eye looks worse. When I contacted them they said the stylist Nicole would reach out. Never heard from her. Quoted $130 and she tried to charge me $185. Will not go back

Jodi Harrington Kathy and Tori are the sweetest people. They always do such a great job and love that I can get in for an appointment on a Monday when most salons are closed on Mondays.
