1 /5 Christine: Worst experience made even worse by terrible customer service! We treated my Mom to a Cut/Colour for her birthday. We chose The Strand as it had great reviews. We had arranged that what ever she wanted done we would pay. What we ended up paying for was a bad colour job, an atrocious hair cut and our Mom to leave crying on her birthday too scared to go back. Look at the picture, can you blame her? When notifying Jill at the salon how incredibly disappointed we all were, we were met with disbelief, defensiveness and a short timeline for our mother to return for them to try and correct it. No matter if you’re a salon, a restaurant or other business, you can’t always get it right, we understand this. How you acknowledge, treat your paying customers and try and rectify your mistakes however, is the true testament. Jill at The Strand failed this big time, and for that I would not recommend this business. We paid $200 to make my Mom cry on her birthday and embarrassed to leave the house.
