Genesis S Can I just say, shout out to Cindy (one of the owners of Blush) for personally reaching out to me after I had an abnormal experience during my recent visit. Often times, I feel like google reviews go unnoticed, but Cindy reached out right away to rectify a situation and make sure I was happy. A little back story, I was initially unable to schedule an appointment with my usual stylist, Nicole, as I had a ton of life events coming up and she was booked for a few weeks (totally understandable!). So I was scheduled with another stylist and I just wasn’t super happy with how everything turned out. But since then, both Cindy and Nicole have done everything to make sure the situation was rectified! MASSIVE thank you to Nicole for offering services to help me feel confident all over again for my interviews coming up! She is absolutely incredible. I’ve seen her multiple times now and I highly recommend seeing her for your hair services!

Livy Dunn I’ve been debating on leaving this review because I love my stylist SO MUCH that I feel greedy with her time BUT something has to be said for the way they do things here. These group of wonderful ladies make me feel so welcome and so beautiful every. single. time. I walk in the door. I can honestly say I have never had a problem with my hair. I have been going to Zoe for almost 2 years now and I can’t imagine anyone else doing my hair. I have never looked better. She puts up with all of my hair anxiety, and venting, and I couldn’t ask for a better stylist. All in all, 5 stars, 10/10 and I even have pics to prove it!

To have someone actually listen to what I wanted in a cut and color was refreshing! Rachel Zurkowski If you have curly 3A/3B hair, go get a haircut by Ally. She is amazing at cutting curly hair. She is young and energetic and follows thr curly hair trends. I found it hard moving out here and getting a new stylist with my hair. She not only cuts and dyes it well, she even gave me bangs which were completely replicative of the 80s. I kept them for about a year and loved them!

Samantha Bedwell Jessica and the lady at the front desk were really welcoming. I had my hair colored and cut for my high school graduation. I am very happy with how it turned out.

Cassidy Heinz Amanda S is amazing! I change my hair super often since i’m indecisive. I go back and forth from light to dark and dark to light at least 2 times a year and she somehow manages to keep my hair healthy! My hair is the longest it’s ever been even though it is colored and I use heat on it as well. She recommends great products and is very realistic about if certain colors would be too damaging for my hair or not. She’s the best and keeps getting better!

Dunkleberger Margaret (Peggy) I had a hairdresser named Samantha she was wonderful, i always go to the Great Clips in Woodstock Il and never saw Samantha, she was wonderful & there is a gentleman named Greg, those two are wonderful and listen to what kind of cut you want...

Donnie Rogge The guy with the ginger beard and blonde hair absolutely butchered my hair. I said I just want to keep the flip at the front and he took my whole front flip off, and made it look like a bowl cut now Im chopped. If he is cutting your hair, your screwed

Chris Barr I drove an entire day from Colorado to Woodstock… my neck and back were so stressed and tight I could barely function. I was recommended to go here by a family member and honestly… I’ve had a lot hundreds of massages… Mary focused on my stressed areas and was not just excellent, but in the top 5 top massage therapists I’ve ever had. Will be back whenever I come back into town!!

Melissa Bollig Loved our couples massage! The peaceful room made us feel relaxed and welcomed. Marissa was fantastic and worked on the areas I needed and I appreciated her checking with me on comfort and pressure during my session! Enjoyed the aromatherapy ~ we will be back!

Lisa Mobley My husband and I had a wonderful couples massage to celebrate our anniversary. Amanda and Will were fantastic—so professional and relaxing. (Probably the most relaxing massage Ive ever had!) The facility is beautiful, clean, and peaceful. We also appreciated the tour of the sauna and cold plunge room afterward. Highly recommend!

camila The dirtiest and most neglected place in the world. I would never really go back. A shame, everything looks and smells bad and he charges the same for a cut as a hair cutter two minutes away! And then the lady looking at the novel while saying “cut your hair” if I could give her less than zero points I would.

ARACELI AVILES Amazing lady :) she’s such a sweetheart, very authentic Hispanic woman I ever known. The place is filled with greenery plants. Very clean honestly don’t let other reviews fool you. Yes there’s a language barrier but I love we both try to understand each other, this place is filled with plants and you can feel good positivity vibe, I love how she style my hair I asked long layers with bangs and add a small trim, she gave me a blowout at the end, and I left very satisfied and feeling myself.

M. Ro WORST PLACE EVER!! If I can give this place a negative number I will. I had reserved a time for hair and make up for my daughters Sweet 15 and the lady was a no show!! Not even a call for a apology. Very unprofessional!!

Amber J. Dropped in as an extra for a mock wedding photo shoot and these gals made me feel like a princess. Never had a fuller more beautiful hairstyle. Definitely recommend this place if you want to feel fancy. Thanks ladies!! You are awesome. This quick style lasted all day in windy conditions and a great deal of moving around outdoors... even lasted after the car ride home and didn’t feel like a helmet. I’m impressed.

E. L. I was so lucky to finally find here! Jenny is incredibly kind and thoughtful and does an AMAZING job. I have had a number of terrible hair experiences with other salons in Woodstock. She made me feel at ease as is now the only one I trust. Jenny has helped me transition from long, short, and between length styles with great success. I came in with dirty blonde and henna dyed hair and have gone to wonderfully highlighted and fresh to bleach blond. With Jennys help I have had purple, teal, and pink hair that I have always wanted to do! So grateful to have found this gem in Woodstock. I highly recommend Cutting Edge and Jenny.

Sydney Maiers I’m obsessed with everything they did. I had a lot of nerves about my makeup because you’re entrusting someone to present you in front of people looking the best you’ve ever looked. And omg did Ashlee kill it. She brought 2 other amazing artists with her and everyone looked perfect! I’m going to post the professional photos when I receive them but here are some we have so far. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU TALENTED LADIES!! I will be recommending everyone to you

Victoria Spizzirri Bella came recommended by my wedding coordinator and after a few phone calls and stalking their socials, I knew it would be a great fit! We opted for the plush bridal package, attendant services and their relatively new "Grooming" package for men. Their set up was fast, clean and efficient. All services received were fantastic, they heard my attendants when they wanted to adjust something, or went with the flow when I decided I wanted to do a complete 180° on my look day-of. The guys loved their grooming package that was gifted by the groom while getting ready. Huge shout out to Shannon, Mariana and Michelle!!

Rebecca Kowalski The Bella Wedding Beauty team was amazing!! They were very easy to work with, had great communication, and were very friendly! I had Kennedy, Shannon, and Ashlee help do hair and makeup for my wedding day and they all did a great job! They were very organized, very good with time management, professional, and the makeup quality was great! The hair and makeup lasted all night! Id highly recommend them to anyone.

Gloria Kranenburg Tracy styled my hair, as well as my mom’s and sister’s, for a family wedding. She took the time to listen closely to our individual styling preferences and then was very quick about getting our hair done. Everyone left happy and the styles lasted all day!

Anthony Fabian Solid haircut for the price of $16. She’s cuts well and cares for her customers. Really fair with her prices she says that she is going to increase them but never does Always keeps them at a low price. You have to be specific with what you want or she’ll cut it short but once she knows how much to cut it comes out good. Also don’t forget to check out her thrift store right next door.

Myra Rocha She did a fantastic job on my daughter’s highlights. Really takes her time and makes sure you are satisfied at every step. Is a kind person with fair prices. Speaks Spanish if needed.

Amit Goyal Great prices, quality of work and Maria is just a nice, friendly person. I used to pay $50-60 for a mens haircut in the city…modern salon style place etc. I am happier with my haircut here than I ever was when I was living in Chicago. Highly recommend.

Jeff Griffith I just noticed a barber in town I had not seen before. Its next to the Woodstock Independent office. I decided I would give it a try. I got my hair cut by a very professional barber. He did an excellent job on my greying messy hair. Mary was so kind and made sure everything was to my liking. What a great place! Give it a try!

yno 7777 Ive been going to Lupita for years and had never had a bad experience. Shes very professional. She also makes conversation to relate with her customers. Great person and as long as I live in the area, Ill be going to her for hair cut.

Jessica Calderon-Rico Lupita is rude, impatient, and entitled. I observed her yelling at a customers children while waiting in line. She is arrogant and it certainly comes across in simple conversation. My husband had been going there for years and on one occasion, he showed up, in the hour prior to closing, and she had already locked the doors. He gets a simple trim. She never took more than 15 to 20 minutes with him. She didnt even open the door. Simply motioned for him to return another time. Dont post hours on a sign, outside your business if you do not intend to follow them.

Natalie Sanchez I been going to here for years! Shes the best! So nice and so respectful. I love coming her to get my hair done and to get my eyebrows waxed. Shes really good at the things she does. I highly recommend her over any other place.
