Alyssa Soulis Ronnie is amazing! Everyone there is great tho! The only reason I didn’t 5 star is because they usually run 30 mins behind. But worth the wait.

Alexa Easterling My husband, daughter, and myself all went for pedi’s and nails. My husband and my pedicure were barely mediocre. We chose a middle tier one and there was NO massaging of our legs at all. Waste of money. But to the real issues. My daughter’s nails LOOK HORRIBLE. A 4 year old could do a better job. I’ll include photos. The design is embarassing to even wear around. There’s no way someone should be doing designs when they know they can’t do even the simplest of things. And my nail is now has a DANG FUNGUS. I tried to avoid leaving a bad review and reached out via there Facebook and email for a refund for my daughters nails and our tip, still willing to pay for my nails and mine and my husbands toes. But they ignored me. And during that time I noticed the fungus, had to have mine and my daughter’s nails both redone. And I’m PISSED. EDIT!!!! This business commented to call and try to handle it, I called and she was SO RUDE. She said I shouldn’t have waited 7 days, even tho they were closed for Christmas and I’ve been trying to get ahold of them. I’ll insert those photos too!!! She said my daughter should have told her the design was bad, but what little girl is going to do that for one??? And for two, look at the damn design yourself you can see it’s horrible. I messaged on Facebook and email, with no response for days. And I called when I could, probably about 4 times. But I also work and can’t call nonstop. HORRIBLE BUSINESS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. I wasted over 350 dollars.

Karla Dryer I had went on Valentine’s Day and I spent $150!!! And one of my nails popped of two days later!!!! And they’re already chipping off and lifting!! And in certain areas it’s lumpy. I’m very disappointed.. I’ve tried calling the salon for the past 3-4 days and no answer!!!

Ciarra Brown This is my third time visiting, and unfortunately, I’m very disappointed with my experience. Each time, I’ve had a full set or fill, along with a pedicure. I’ve paid high prices, hoping for good service, but each visit has had issues. During my first visit, the owner (the mom) did my nails, and although I had concerns about my pedicure, they were overlooked. On my second visit, I had problems with the pedicure again and asked for a simple toe design, but it wasn’t done. The daughter did my nails and did a great job, so I didn’t say anything. This third time has been the most frustrating. I’ve had the same person doing my pedicure each time, and again, the design was not done as requested. It’s not a complicated design, and I’ve had it done before on my short nails. Instead, she just gave me a basic French tip, and I was left disappointed. When it came to my fill, a different technician worked on my nails, and they are crooked. I sat there for over 2.5 hours, and despite repeatedly asking for corrections (like almond-shaped nails and fixing uneven filing), the technician didn’t seem to care about the quality. The design I asked for was simple, but it’s poorly done—crooked, thick, and with bubbles in the polish. I was embarrassed by how they looked. I didn’t want to keep complaining, especially since nothing was being fixed, so I just left. At this point, I’m frustrated and won’t be returning. My only day off is Sunday, and I was hoping this would work for me, but I guess I’ll need to go to Louisville from now on. For anyone thinking of coming here, keep your requests very basic and be prepared to pay high prices for subpar service.

Jade troutman First time going to this salon and I had a great experience! The wait was nonexistent for me (although a couple folks came in right after me and they had about a 10 minute wait) but I was able to get in on a Sunday and get out. It’s a fairly large salon-I was helped by Sofia and I got the full set with a manicure and almond shape. They charge extra for some shapes but she did a great job and I was happy to pay the extra. The total was $70 which is honestly the range everyone is working with nowadays. That included the manicure and the shape, plus the full set. I’ll be going back for a fill in once it’s time!

Kayla Bailey Employees seemed agitated that I brought my baby with me to get my nails done. The one doing my nails made a hateful comment asking why I didn’t have him in a car seat (he was on my chest in a carrier) and then proceeded to tell me it would be hard to do my nails if he wasn’t in a car seat. Didn’t even get to do the design I wanted because I felt like I was not wanted there and just wanted to leave.

5.True & John NAILS

Address: 1401 N Dixie Hwy #101, Elizabethtown, KY 42701

(97) Reviews True & John NAILS:

Elyse Allen I booked with True online but John ended up doing my nails. He was rude, aggressive, and as soon as I sat down he told me I only had one hour so pick something quick. I ended leaving extremely dissatisfied. After cutting my nails too short he ripped the tips off to reapply. Throwing things, snatching my hand. I had to ask him to stop being so rough. I regret not just walking out! I paid $145 on my BIRTHDAY (pedicure included) to end up with mediocre nails. I thought my toes would be pearl white but came out silver (I chose not to change them because of timing). Apparently all new clients get handed off to the main person who obviously doesnt want to be there and has zero customer service or people skills... John. True was very sweet and tried to be helpful while working on other clients. Such a shame I couldnt experience her work. I dont mind paying whatever the price but I dont like feeling ripped off.

Melanie Lampton If I could give True and John 100 stars I would! I was so tired of the other nail salons in Etown, between the waiting, never being sure if youll have a good outcome, then I stumbled across them on Facebook and Im so glad I did! John was efficient but took his time and the quality of my new set was outstanding. Theyre amazing and super responsive to messages. You wont regret it!

Erika Henderson Ive been getting my nails done by True and John literally for the last ten years. Ive followed them to three different nail salons and Im always happy with my results. John always does what he can to create a design that I have envisioned, even if he has never done it before. They are both incredibly friendly. The salon is very cozy and clean. I cannot recommend True and John enough.

Alyssa Jantzen These are all the sets I’ve gotten since October! I have been going to Herbal Nails since 2022 and haven’t had plans to go anywhere else. The black and white set pictured below was on for 4 weeks before I got the hot pink set. The quality is great for the price you pay. Each set hasn’t been over $65.

Amy Peters I just got my nails done two days ago. I went today because one of them fell off when I picked my phone up from my desk at work. They charged me $5 to fix it even though it was falling off the next day. Now I just had another one fall off and all I was doing was putting my hair up. Iam so upset. I paid $60 for full set. If I go back tomorrow I’ll be charged again. I’ll never be back

Heather Hensel Very clean place and very friendly lady done my manicure. She done a great job painting my real nails. I was just disappointed in the fact my hands were only put in hot plain water for a short period of time before she started working on my manicure. There was nothing extra to the manicure. Just the short hand soaked in hot water, cleaning of the cuticles then gel polish followed with a touch of lotion at the end of service. I just expected more like Ive gotten elsewhere on manicures. This just maybe their own way of doing it but I prefer to have my hands pampered during a manicure. I would recommend this place. She done great polishing and was friendly but I wanted more in my manicure. Thank you.
