Kayla Davis Been coming here faithfully for over 2 years now. My schedule is usually chaotic so I normally have to do walk ins for a hair cut. ALL OF THE STAFF are so sweet and friendly. I have had at least 4 different people cut my hair over the last 2 years, and ever single experience was wonderful, every cut fantastic.

Alison Hennemann Danielle is amazing! She works around my crazy schedule and I am always so happy with my hair after visiting her. She does fanastic color as well as cuts. And my eyebrows never looked better

Doreen Warfield Love this salon!! Cori is amazing. She accommodates my crazy schedule, gets the perfect color combo for me, and does it all in a loving and fun way. And the boutique is wonderful. Love heading down stairs or online to find great pieces tonwear or gift. Update 2/22 - STILL loving coming here. I highly recommend!!!

Jessi Thornton I have debated making this review but the longer i look at my nails the more I dislike them. I went for a fill and one repair. I asked if the tech could do the below photo and she said she could, referencing it many times. I ended up with one nail globby, thick and much shorter than every other nail (this being the repair), and all my other nails were very thick. As far as the design, i will let the photo speak for itself.

Ashlee Singleton Been coming here for almost 10 years. My fav nail shop in Fairview. They never disappoint. Very friendly offers most of the services you can get done at any nail shop.

Elle G First time at this nail salon and it was a good experience. I popped in on a Friday around 10:45am for a mani/pedi and was immediately serviced. My nail tech realized it was my 1st time and gave me such a warm welcome. I enjoyed our conversation and she did a really good job overall. I appreciated how she corrected smudges and such while making sure I was comfortable and pleased. Ill definitely be a return customer whenever Im in the Fairview Heights area!

Valerie Mitchell She was very sweet! I went to get my lashes removed and while laying on my back I started choking on lord knows what! But she was so patient with me and made sure I was ok. Didn’t get irritated at all with me moving so much. I did apologize but she made me feel comfortable & her suite is sooo nice and clean it was definitely a vibe in there!! 10/10 definitely recommend.

Kim Jay BEWARE! Not only did she fail to provide the services requested, i had to go to the emergency room shortly after due to the amount & placement of the glue she used. She is unprofessional, dishonest, and should not be playing in anyone’s eyes. I will never book again and I will ensure everyone I know in the area does not book as well. *** UPDATE **** I am not sure who Katrina is and I have no idea where you live, I have only been to the place that you perform lash extensions at. But this demonstrates that I am not the only person you have done foul and unprofessional business with . This is truly sickening .

Taylor Killian Ive had other minor issues here but nothing like this! On my birthday I went to this “salon” with a plan and back up plans.( I have back up plans to AVOID things like this but some people are just…. Yeah) She lied and refused me looking at another color book, it was only after her and her coworker was standing in front of me pointing and talking about me that she then got up and came back with two books which she threw at me without saying anything (after she said, she only has one book in the store). I was getting acrylics and after the color was on it was lighter than I was expecting. She said it was because it’s for dip nails not acrylic, which she didn’t tell me and she got upset that I didn’t like the color after she left out information. Also, I’m confused on why she was having me look at colors she knew 1. I Wasn’t going to like. And 2 is not for my nails. Plans were not working, I was trying to come up with a new design and color pattern last minute to ACCOMMODATE to them! I don’t know if she didn’t want to do all of the work like if she just wanted a simple color, maybe the girl felt embarrassed that she couldn’t do anything I wanted, but that is still no excuse for how she treated me. She insulted me and told me I was wasting her time. She told me I was being extremely difficult because I didn’t know what I wanted when I came in (I was ready the store was not.) She sat there and tore me down while I cried(I am not one to cry in public, I try very hard not to get emotional and to just breathe so for me to sit here, snotty nose, make up running down my face, shaking, crying it was BAD!), after I told her she was making me uncomfortable and that I wanted to leave she got more mad! When I went to leave, she attempted to charge me a full set, the audacity and frustration made me cry more, I told her I’m not paying for a full service I did not receive, she said she would make my total $10. That did not happen. They refused to fix it. I’m still in awe of this woman’s “professional” behavior. Hopefully the BBB can get them sorted out, if not GOOD BYE!!!

Kanisha Borden I really like the way this salon does nails. I even like the people. I do not like how they price gouge. Fine it’s $45 for dip. I can live with you charging more than most salons in this area. Then an extra $5 for shape. Fine, normal. Then it was an extra $5 for matte top coat. I feel like if I asked for cuticle oil that would have been an extra $5. The matte top coat irritated me, because it literally is nothing extra for them. If you are fine with extra costs for every little thing, no price list posted anywhere, every cost is off the top of their heads, then fine. The work other wise is great.

mariah Did not like my nails at all, these were supposed to be my birthday nails and all of them were different lengths and were uneven. Then they were overpriced for the way they came out overall don’t recommend this nail salon.

Danielle Rocheleau I was wary of trying a new nail salon but this exceeded my expectations!!! The inside is clean, organized, modern, and inviting! My nail tech was LeeAnn and she did a wonderful job. I got liquid gel nails with gel polish and I also brought my son to get a mani and pedi (I don’t recall his nail tech but she also did an amazing job). They follow procedures for Covid-19 and their tools were all sanitized. The massages felt amazing and she was very careful not to nick me. I’ll definitely be going back!

Reyna Davis I came here yesterday with a friend and I dont normally get my nails done, Ive only gotten acrylics done one other time but I know what looks good and what doesnt. I was a walk in, I had a pic on my phone of what I wanted, I showed the guy the pic and he had me pick out the colors which was fine I guess, except for the fact I had 5 colors to pick and he was getting antsy after only a minute had gone by and then snatched my phone with the picture I was looking at and took the color palette from my hands and gave it to my friend and told her to pick my colors out so he could go ahead and start on my nails. Which did not make me very happy because I wanted to pick my colors. There was just a whole bunch of other things that did not make this a pleasant experience.. Also my nails do not look very good. They look like they were done atleast a week ago the nails did not go down to my nail beds. I would not suggest going here, but then again this is just my experience.

Mrs. Nik Willis Theresa is fabulous and the most easiest to talk to and wont let u damage ur hair, very knowledgeable and overall a great time every cut, and the cut, each time it was perfect and felt so great that I had a real stylist cut my hair right!! 10/10*********

Anne Branum Probably the worst haircut Ive ever received. I came to have my hair trimmed. 1 side was quite A bit longer than the other with long pieces sticking out. She did it in probably 10 minutes tops because she was way too distracted talking to another coworker. Didnt realize how bad it was until I got home. I was just astonished how a professional would send a client home with hair that looked that bad. I will definitely not be returning.

Kat Pepperd I was a New Customer to this Salon. I was Disappointed with the Service I got. The Hair Dresser did not Introduce herself, or ask me what I was looking to have Done. I asked for my hair to be cut to fall below my Shoulders. The Hair Dresser was too Aggressive with the Amount that she Cut off! It was very Short, did not even touch my shoulders! she stated she had no idea that my hair would Shrink up! I would think, me being a BRAND NEW CUSTOMER! she would be a little more Conservative, You can always take more off, but cant put it back on! I absolutely hate my haircut! I was a 1ST TIME, and LAST TIME customer!

Tamesha Harris I first discovered this establishment via the reviews. Some were negative but most were positive. I needed a new nail spa. I thought I would try this nail spa out. Today was my second visit to this establishment. Both visits have been exceptional. I believe I have found my forever nail spa. You may ask why. Let’s talk about it. #1 Great Customer Service. #2 A very Clean, Calm, and peaceful atmosphere. #3 Great Price. No hidden fees or upcharges. #4 Location. #5 Appointment only. #6 Honors appointments by being timely #7 Other customers are very nice and friendly. #8. Various payment methods #9. I always feel great when I leave. After a long week, quality me-time is needed. #10. Attention to detail and attention to the customers, when rendering services. So there you go, ten reasons why you should visit this establishment. I am going to recommend it to family and friends, church members and all. Oops, one more thing… text message confirmations of the appointment. I love it. So many positives, yes. I know that every place has its positives and negatives. I found a lot of positives here. I will continue to come to this establishment.

Cher Gagen Wiltsie You need to make an appointment! I walked in and was asked to come back in a couple of hours because they had scheduled appointments. (It was a Sunday afternoon) I came back and they spent time with me regarding what I wanted done with my nails and were super nice and helpful! My fingers and toes look amazing and the price was fair! If you want a place that won’t rush through services because of walk ins; this place is amazing! I will be back next weekend!

Pam Casey Stop to get a pedicure!!! Awful I purchased a $50 one to get the wax stones and hot towels. I could not get the lady to cut my toenails because she said they were too short which they wasn’t. She did not try to get my ingrown out. She brought some cold rocks over there and it’s 37° here Then she brought cold towels over and put on me. They were cold as heck. I was trying to tell the lady and they didn’t act like they cared they went and got some more rocks and put hot water in a bowl and try to get them hot. It didn’t do anything then she brought some cold towels After that. I asked her if she minded putting my sandals on before she painted they did not turn the heater thing on that you put your feet under it was cold as ice. Normally, they use a dryer. She said well I can put some more towels on you. I said they’re cold. I asked the lady that was doing my feet. That barely gave me a massage. She said I said is your machine broke and she said yeah that’s why they didn’t heat up. she didn’t even offer me a discount. I was in there to get my nails filled and a wax on top of my pedicure Still had to pay the $50. No respect I wouldn’t wish that on anyone I don’t think the younger girl knew what she was doing. Worst !!!! I travel all over the United States for work. This is the worst. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad one I live in Texas. They take care of you.

Makenzie Redou Really good pedicure but the way he did my acrylics it is not evenly coated polish. But other than that The service was amazing

Abigail Staggs Nice shop, but they charged me 15 for just an eyebrow wax. All the other nail shops Ive been too, its only like 8 to 10. Plus if you use credit they charge a 4 percent fee. The lady did do a good job though.

Ziggy Bear The experience was horrible, I genuinely hated it, front desk was fine but once I got to the nail tech she kept indirectly pointing out how impossible it was to get the polish, to which she could’ve just turned me away. But instead she still put an acrylic nail. This was for a simple repair, the design was completely botched and the color didn’t even match remotely to the original design and color. I’ve been to a lot of nail salons for repairs and each one get it similar to the other nails but not only was it not close to the original color, when I tried to mention it was the wrong color she proceeded to explain how each nail salon is different, yet every salon but this one could fix it nicely. Also somehow something happened and now my nail is in agonizing pain when it wasn’t beforehand. I wouldn’t have even gone if my regular nail salon wasn’t open. Now my sensory issues keep going off real badly and I’ve had difficulty breathing due to how much I’ve been hyperventilating. I’m getting this fixed at my Normal nail tech and cancel my other plans tomorrow. The attached photo I shouldn’t have to explain, it’s the index finger and the gold should be the same throughout the nails but it’s a light gold and the design looks like it’s been zoomed in. Ill add a comparison too. They made me pay $15 for it too and it’s this bad. I might as well rip the nail off whole, my visual issues can’t handle looking at it for much longer.

jstdimpz I usually spend at least 4 hours at AQ for my services. Leo and his team are phenomenal! They are sweet and Leo always finds time to fit me in as well as rocking the art I request. The wine is complimentary which is a plus for me. This is a safe space and the prices are wonderful! My long nails can last 2-4 weeks!

Ashley Weakley Went to take my daughter and mother on a fun little day date. We all got pedicures and my 7 year old also got a basic childs mani (color). I felt like the upselling was ridiculous. The Pedi book was turned to the last page (the most expensive) and multiple times when I asked for just a basic Pedi for my girl they kept trying to get me to do the higher milk and honey $54. Im sorry but shes 7 she doesnt need that kind of pedicure. The lady who did her toenails didnt listen to the request of alternating colors and was annoyed when we tried to communicate the difference. While doing my daughters mani a customer walked in and so she rushed to finish so she could take a new client and my daughters nails reflect the rushed worked. The pictures are taken 2 hours after we left. The polish looks absolutely awful, its uneven, splotchy and all over skin/ cuticle. I didnt even look at it at the shop because I figured since Im spending $62 for a Pedi it will be great! Obviously I was wrong. I doubt Ill return, I cant support a business that is going to overcharge for this quality of work..

Amber Bergman Came in today 3/8/25, after receiving a referral, for a Girls Day Trip. Requested Manicures and Pedicure. My tech Elizabeth was absolutely amazing during my Pedicure. Young but super friendly beings it was my 1st time ever getting one, I believe she did an amazing job 10/10. We never did get our Manicures once I decided Id go ahead and get tips applied I was told to go to a technician. My nail tech. Lynn struggled to get the polish to spread out on the original design I wanted and struggled with some equipment she was going to try to use. She didnt give up but eventually after watching her struggle for so long, I told her lets go with something different her choice. She did a black French tip with a cat eye coat. Very similar to the design I was wanting just not as blended. None of which was her fault. We had good conversation and she had great advice on nail care beings Ive not done it very often. Ill definitely return to her as well. Only reason Im not giving a 5 star is because my sisters Pedicure tech and nail tech didnt listen. She didnt get the color toe nails nor was the color or design on her nails done properly. Shes not a very confrontational person although she did tell both she had it wasnt right she didnt put much of an ending argument. We do plan to return, my sister however will not use the 2 techs she had this time.

Cheyenne Doverspike i have been going to this nail salon for a long time now, and every time i am in there service is exceptional and the workers are amazing. these girls always take their time doing your nails and never feeling rushed. i have tried places like ZAZA and this salon blows them out of the water! ❤️

Ashley Greathouse Ann and Nina were amazing, ( I didn’t catch the name of the young woman who painted Lilian’s flower) Our nails are top notch. Lilian got an acrylic fill, cat eye polish and a painted flower accent nail. I had my previous tips taken off and had a dip manicure. This purple is beautiful. Addison got a basic gel manicure. She’s loving her pink glitter. We already cant wait for our appointment in two weeks. Service is friendly. They are great with kids. The customer service is above and beyond!

Karen Waller Have been going to this spa for at least 3 years now and my stylist Nina is amazing with my challenges I bring with designs, Joseph does my pedicures majority of the time and also does great pedicures, you looking for a fantastic design job ask for Nina. I’ll add my photos , latest is the orange Halloween design . Advise plan ahead and get appointment if you are wanting something detailed. Don’t let any negative reviews dissuade - always give someone a chance before judging.

Kaylee Armfield i’ve been to many of the nail salons in the area & taj nail bar is by far the best one! summer does an outstanding job! my nails looked fresh for three whole weeks (first picture) loved it so much, i came back and the same thing (second photo) plus a pedicure. highly recommend taj! i am so pleased with everything!

Donna Ann Please see the review I wrote under Nail Spa Swansea Illinois for complete experience details. I will not be going back to this place. For my 4 year old granddaughter‘s very first manicure it was terrible: her manicurist looked angry the whole time, did not make eye contact with my granddaughter, did not say one word to her, did not give her one smile. And I walked out with smeared thumbs because they didn’t even have quick drying spray or a place you could sit to dry your nails not to mention I had to ask for a fan to dry my granddaughters nails and when I went to get the fan to dry my nails since they didn’t even offer me a fan, (I smeared my thumbs) They didn’t even say goodbye or say thank you to either of us: My thumbs were smeared the day before our Families Thanksgiving. Our experience was a horrible one from the time we walked in till the moment we walked out. My only regret is that we did not turn right around and walk out. My second regret is they got paid for such a terrible experience: You can be sure I will be taking my granddaughter for her very first GOOD manicure experience in the near future. 1-18-25 UPDATE The granddaughter I speak about in my review above two years ago still feels the same regarding going to this nail salon at 6 yrs old. Just look at her in the pic I posted and look at the technicians face. For my granddaughter‘s first experience, she did not get one smile nor eye contact and No conversation: and even if the women couldn’t speak English the least she should’ve done for a four year-old girls first experience was smile at her. I see I’m not the only one giving this place bad reviews either. Someone I personally know went there today and saw my review while writing her own review about her terrible experience today and told me about it. I can’t believe she gave a tip either because they made her cuticle bleed on two of her nails, not to mention how the tech couldn’t even get the colors that she requested correct no matter how many times she told him what colors she wanted: He still got it wrong. She said she just accepted the colors he put on her nails because he just wasn’t understanding. I stand by what I said no matter what a nosey customer’s opinion was of me that day. She obviously has never experienced what my four-year-old granddaughter and myself had to experience going to this place. Had I seen this comment two years ago, believe me I would have responded then. Talk about bias. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. If this place is where this person wants to get her nails serviced have at it. I’ll never go back. And now neither is my friend. Had I known this was the place she was going to get her nails done before her vacation trip I would have encouraged her to go somewhere else. Save yourself a headache and find another place.

Rachel Stegman Soo.. I’ve been here before, but it was a few years ago. I decided to try it again after going to Ocean Nail Spa in O’Fallon IL in December.. and the experience wasn’t that good for me. I was going to give a 3 star, but I’ll explain why I gave a 1. The young man who did my pedicure and manicure, didn’t provide what I had asked for. First, I had requested and showed him the metallic silver I wanted for my toes and the color that is actually on my toes, for my fingers. I’m not sure if there was a language barrier but he just wasn’t understanding my request (even after I had showed him my colors), and when I had corrected him, he said “yes, silver on toes and white on nails” so I felt comfortable, until he started putting the color on my toes and I noticed it wasn’t silver! So I told him that wasn’t the color, so instead of showing me the colors again to make sure it was the correct color this time, he just went ahead and asked the lady coworker what color was the color I wound up with. He showed me and it looked silver enough, but I knew it wasn’t the correct color because this isn’t metallic silver. I was on a time schedule due to my kids being watched by my mom.. so I went with it. Cool.. next, it was time for my manicure. I was adjusting my seat and the right sandal broke. I left it alone so I wouldn’t mess my toes up. So he starts on my nails with cutting and filing them and removing the previous gel, except he missed getting some and it’s still on my thumb (in the picture).. and then starts on the color! This guy uses the white that is used for french tips!!! I immediately stopped him and told him this isn’t the color I had asked for. He said “you said white..” I said “let me show you, again!!” So he got the color book and I told him “this” was the color silver I wanted for my toes and the color he put on my toes, I wanted for my nails.. but because he had already used that color, I went with another one which isn’t my favorite. He even cut my finger cuticles to where they have little red spots from my skin being pulled off. But the icing on the cake (for the 1 star) was that when we were done, I told him about my sandal breaking and asked for another one. Instead of providing me with an another sandal, he decided to start touching my toes and told me that my toes were dry and that it’s fine for me to put my socks back on. I was questioning that as I have gotten my toes done many times, and it usually takes a lot longer for them to dry, but I went with it and put my socks on seeing he was touching them. The picture of my toe are the results of my socks coming off, and it really messed my nail polish up. Even some of the cotton is stuck to the nail polish!!! And mind you, I felt obligated (even though I shouldn’t have) to pay a 15% tip.. so I spent about 90 bucks on all of this. I feel I should get my toenails and fingernails redone at no charge, as I am going on vacation on Monday and it’s very urgent to get my toes at least looking not so clumpy. I’m very disappointed in this experience. This has been by far the worst one yet. And I hardly have bad experiences at nail salons.

Megan Paige I just left the nail salon, and while I’m pretty low-maintenance and don’t usually expect much, this is the first time I’ve ever looked at my nails and thought, I need to get these redone—immediately. The polish is messy, with color outside the nail bed, and overall just looks sloppy. The staff was nice and the salon itself seemed clean, but unfortunately, the quality of the manicure was really disappointing

Nia Con Was a bit iffy about this place but was really craving a nail day for my day off, and it was worth it! Tom is the one who did these, first time I’ve ever had my nails done by a man and cats eye coat for $40 is not bad at all!

kennetta loving I went in today, a guy did my nails and it seemed like he was high. He kept forgetting what color I asked for and look at the results of my nails. They all were different sizes and shapes and the polish started to come off. Ge told him and he just laughed that’s why I figured he was high, he was shaking and constantly twitching. My nails was all out of shape.

La Voir Creations, LLC Kim is the WHOLE bomb. She always give me exactly what I ask for. She doesn’t take long at all. Lina is great. She get it done and it always look so good. They keep me coming back over and over. They the F ing best. For real! They are so friendly. Luv’em
