Erin Burns I went to Girl Friday for a spray tan (and am overdue for another!!) and loved the whole experience. The spray room has the cutest sign with her rules - all about not apologizing for your body. Stacy made me feel more than comfortable and was so kind and welcoming. My tan looked fantastic - bronze and not the slightest bit orange, and lasted longer than I thought it would. Highly, highly recommend!

Sydney Morgan Stacy is the best! Ive been going to her consistently for over a year for Airbrush Spray Tans and always leave with a smile on my face. Girl Friday is clean, welcoming and the entire process is quick and efficient. I’ve received so many compliments on how natural my tan looks!

Alexandra Mick I had an amazing experience at this salon. Everything was fairly priced, the staff was super friendly and the salon was very clean. I went on vacation a few days after getting my nails done and the color was semi bleached out by the water in Florida. I contacted the salon when I got home and they were really kind and helped me get my nails back to looking perfect. I will definitely be returning to this salon to get my nails done for graduation!

Jess Sheetz Best place in town to get your nails done! I got a regular pedicure from Cindy and a gel manicure from Jason. Cindy did an amazing job cleaning up all the dead skin around my toenails and the massage part felt SO GOOD, by far the best massage Ive gotten during a pedicure. Jason did a great job making my nail length and shape even and consistent and made sure I was happy with it each step of the way. Ive tried so many nail salons around Bloomington-Normal and I highly recommend Rosemary Nails above them all!

Laura Pusateri My Mither has returned to Jane Johnson hair dresser extraordinary for her weekly appointment! Plusses we get to see all the fabulous things in the boutique!! The door says walking welcome...it is worth stopping g!!

Susie T I made an appointment for a hair cut, man o man, how can I discribe my experience. Let’s put it this way, I was there once and once too many. My appointment was with the “owner” I showed up on time at 2pm she was having lunch. I waited and she gestured me to a booth where the chair was covered with hair...disgusting. She didn’t bother to clean it. Hind sight, I should have just left because she clearly demonstrated she didn’t want my business. I can’t help to wonder if it had anything to do with me being Asian?! Wasted money, wasted time and the cut was definitely nothing to write home about. Never again!

Margaret Davis I see Ashlin to get my hair cut at Moda. Ashlin cuts my hair, puts in layers, and thins it out exactly how I ask. Each time I come in, she does the exact same great job! She has a sweet, genuine, and down to earth presence which makes feel comfortable. I have been very pleased with my experience with Ashlin at Moda and would recommend her to anyone!

Rita Dallas Called for a walk-in status appointment, got in w/n 10 minutes. I only requested a trim and Ashlin not only trimmed my daughters hair but styled it as well. She looked so pretty when we left. Price was VERY reasonable. Definitely recommend!

emma nerby I went here and saw Ashlin to get a simple haircut, and the experience was unusual compared to my typical salon experience. Once I left and a few days later, I straightened my hair and I saw the back and it was not even what so ever, it had no texture on the ends, it was all a different length and is extremely noticeable. It felt like she wasnt very confident while cutting my hair in general. Overall was not a great experience for just a simple haircut.

Kelli Beverage I absolutely love this salon! Jordan has been doing my hair for a year now and I look forward to my appointments with her! I have super thin hair and thought I could never get extensions but she proved me wrong and I now have beautiful, healthy looking hair because of her! She takes excellent care of me and always makes me feel better than I did going in! Highly recommend her and this salon to everyone!

Roxanne Foster I had never had a facial before and decided to treat myself. I scheduled with Tess and she was wonderful. She listen to what I needed and then explained everything she was doing and why. I now go once a month. I am so pleased with the way my skin looks and feels.

Kim Tarvin Stylist Jayla at Pure Envy was able to achieve the color and look I have desired for years but no other stylist was able to nail it! Such a natural look. I recommend her for all your color/highlight needs. 10 out of 5 stars deserved!

Autumn Farmer Very unhappy went in with my mother to get our acrylics taken off they picked hers off with another acrylic tip and they were soaking mine off had me go sit in another booth as he started someone else’s which is fine but I sat there for another 20 min before I asked to go to the restroom. Then someone attended to my nails. As I was finished I didn’t even want to paint them but my mom convinced me to get them painted. As I was walking out I was over it I had to tell the guy 2 times I still had acrylic on my nails and that I didn’t want them cut down by the time I walked out my nails and her nails look like crap I still have acrylic on my nails and lost a bunch of length. Would not recommend as we spend 40 a piece there and it was not worth it. The guy seemed more interested in his phone than he did doing my nails.

Chelsea Lauren Me and my sister came to get our nails done while waiting on our train back to Chicago. We gave two simple pics. Both onbre. And what I got was absolutely TERRIBLE!!! They look like 2002 nails! The pics don’t come close! I even stopped her mid service to ask her are you doing the onbre? She said yes let me finish all rude. Well she still didn’t do it. The man told my sister “that too much money” like she was broke! Rude again! Then charged me 176$!!! I said excuse me! That is outrageous for these terrible nails!!!!AND added her own tip!! I have never had such a bad experience getting nails done! This place needs shut down. Especially because how they don’t wear gloves, hair all hanging over my nails and in her face. I’m so enraged and felt like I was taken advantage of because we wasn’t from there. Which is NOT okay! I want a refund. I’ll even accept half. I will be going to the BBB as well to report. And next consumers to fine. I promise I willl NOT stop. And they will see your old reviews that back mine up cause plenty have gone through the same as me!!! Please save yourself time and trouble. Aubrey ONeil I asked for almond, I didn’t get that at all. The shapes are all different sizes and he didn’t check the Length of my nails as well. They are super chunky and just don’t look right. They were very rushed and just wanted to get to the next client. Didn’t touch my cuticles and didn’t put anything on my hands afterwards so they were still very gross. I am very disappointed and won’t be going back. I will say they are very nice people though, Still way overpriced and my nails look terrible.

Rachel Sherbondy Went to Lynn a few months ago for my graduation nails & she did an awesome job! The marble nails turned out pretty good! Far better than any salon I’ve been to in Bloomington. Also it was cheaper than I thought it would be too considering I got designs, marble, & a special shape all for $45. I was more than impressed with my mails & my friends nails. My graduation nails were perfect & super noticeable in pictures!! Wish I would have known about this salon all 4 years of college!

Dominique Byrd Really not happy with the tall Male not sure what his name is but 3 of my daughters fingers were cut. How can you do that and not know with no apology or anything. Reconsidering going there again.

Lily This place they were really nice. They can do designs very well. If you take them in inspo picture, they will replicate it. I have had multiple sets from love and they match them perfectly. Will be coming back. The first one are my nails the second one was my inspo pic love this place

Jennie Robinson Not sure why such bad reviews, my daughter and I had a great first time experience. We were spontaneous walk-ins. We both decided on a matching full set gel with a design. Waited less than 10 mins and Duck did a fantastic job! Highly recommend :)

Pearl Tassoni-Price Second time in a row Duc has messed up my nails… picture was up for him to go off reference and they still came out wrong size, shape, and the design isn’t even near accurate. Doesn’t help that he doesn’t engage in conversation either :/ the girl is always nice and does a good job but he always rushes my nails and ruins them Update: was told to soak off nails & she would redo my full set. Got there at the appointed time & was met by Duc Tran who got aggressive with not just me but my fiancé. Kim did nothing but allow him to be aggressive and demeaning for no reason. Ended up just getting our money back. Would not recommend, will never be back.

Bekkah Mather Tristen does amazing work and goes above and beyond for all of her clients! She’s always clean, professional and gets my nails done in a timely manner. The salon is in an easy to get to & convenient location. Tristen also has the CHEAPEST nail & spa services in central IL as far as I’ve been able to find! I’ve been going to Tristen for about a year now and I always look forward to my appointments with her every 2-3 weeks!

Hermann Wellness Full disclosure, I am a male. Through the years I have earned bad toenails from kicking things in my bare feet in tae kwon do. When I would go to a public swimming pool everybody leaves. They were that bad. However, Tristen has worked her magic and now I am a foot model. (Ok, I lied about being a foot model) If you are male and need help with your toenails you are in the right place. Tristen will take care of you!

Paityn Broshous The reason I am giving 2 stars is because the service was ok to start with and I have never given a bad review or ever complained to a company in general, but paying what I did I feel like I have to. I was getting my nails done for a formal event at school, my birthday, as well as Halloween coming up. I got a an acrylic full set and a pedicure. I originally tipped(I have no idea why) because I always tip and felt bad when I should be the one being felt bad for. I didn’t really let it soak in until I sat in my car staring at my nails for 15 minutes and my friends and family told me to go back in too. My nails were crooked, you can see where they started the fill and where my old nails ended, not cleaned up, the acrylic doesn’t cover my whole nail really, not what I wanted, and just didn’t look the best. They didn’t clean all the dust off so it looks like the black part of my nails have lice. They are also doing a weird bubbling thing. When cleaning up the black French tip part it got swiped down on to the nude part and wasn’t taken off in time or before the top coat. Now it’s turning some odd brown color. I have tried to rub it off the nude part and I have thought about using nail polish remover, but I don’t want to make them worse. You can see all of this in the pictures. I went back in and spoke with the manager and she said to just stay and wait so she could fix them, but I had to leave in order to get ready for my formal. She also offered to come back on the weekend (in which I couldn’t because I was going home for my birthday). She then offered I could come back the next week when I got home to which I said it wouldn’t be worth it (so I thought) at that point. I got 25% off and I am grateful for something back I truly am, but I tipped so it would have been nice to get the tip back and then the 25%. This still made it around $98 with the money I got back. Before tip I believe it was $110 so with tip it was $123 (again I have no idea why I tipped). I don’t want to post my feet, but trust me when I say they look rough too. It’s like I didn’t even get a pedicure. Not to mention I broke out in hives. It has only been 4 days and this is what they look like. My nails do not grow that fast. I called today because I am back from being home and I’m not going to lie my nails are hard to look at and I’m not a girl that gets her nails done a lot. She said since I got my money back I cannot get them fixed unless I pay again. Everyone has told me “They look ok from far away just don’t show close up” and I agree but I paid a lot for something I should want to and shouldn’t be ashamed to show close up. I also felt when I complained (even though I made it clear I definitely didn’t want to be complaining) I felt like I was an annoyance or the problem of the situation. But I am not happy. I feel absolutely horrible for leaving this review because like I said and I am not one to even complain let alone do this, but I figured this would give a representation of what it actually looks like.

Kimberly Ukaegbu Went here to get my nails done for the first time in about five years. I pay $59 for gel nails and thought that I liked them but as I got home and continue to actually look at my nails, it look like she did not do a very neat job and sloppy work, my nails was a bit lumpy in the middle and it wasnt a very good polish job as some parts of the polish was lighter or darker than others and they were very thick. So I called back and told the person on the phone about how unhappy I was about my nails and she said to come in and she will have the lady redo my nails. I get there and the lady didnt seem like she was very happy that I had called and complained about my nails. Well what would you do if you pay $59. She did not try to apologize for the nails. She just grab my hands when I was trying to explain to her and just start for filing instead of listening to what I was trying to tell her that if she was. She went under the nail to file them down to try to make them thinner in on the sides of the nail to make it a little bit more square like I wanted it in the first place, however, with her doing that left the polish on done and went back to the regular acrylic on the sides, she didnt bother to try to re-polish them or anything she say OK done with Kind of a attitude. Do not go here and get your nails done. They just get the money and its whatever I cant say. The man did a very good job on my feet. It was one of the best pedicures I had in years.

Alonnah Madson I requested a hair and makeup trial for my wedding in August. Overall, it was a fun experience, but not what I was hoping for, especially for the price. Personally, airbrush foundation is not a great option for my dry skin and I prefer to look more dewy. The girl who did my makeup was very upfront with me that they only do airbrush and it would not look like I wanted. I appreciated her being upfront. My face felt very dry and stiff, and the lines on my face were much more noticeable. My eye makeup application was much darker than what I preferred and it looked messy to me. It wasnt very close to what I had showed her for inspiration. My hair is very long and healthy, with a slight natural wave to my butt. My style was a braid to the side. It became messy pretty quickly, so Im not sure if it was something the stylist could have done differently or if its just not a great option for my hair. Overall, I wanted to love it, but I didnt. The staff was very nice and the facility is a very cute and clean place. Paying that much for a trial to be unhappy with it was tough though.

Jaye G Kendra was great! I dont normally do reviews, but we talked about what would be best for my hair instead of "what look am I going for" and I walked out with a cute style. I miss my extra long hair, but she made me feel comfortable and I agreed to the plan. She said if I wanted to change anything, give her a call and well fix it. Its next day and Im still happy. Apparently she also does nails and makeup!

Brittany Kim is the best! If you’re looking for a great hair colorist and stylist with decades of experience and a Jersey girl with great conversation, she’s your girl! Fox and Hound is a beautiful salon and Kim is honest about what my hair needs when I go in for my highlights. LOVE her and highly recommend her to anyone! Milena Palmer I did my nails Last week, and I love the space and the people that work at Zen Nails Spa! Got a manicure and fell them so beautiful! The salon is always clean Best of all? Theyre priced very competitively compared to other salons in this area. Great place! Easy to go to and feel relaxed.

Jessica Stout My friend and i went into kevin’s nails on Saturday to both get full sets. we were greeted and asked to pick a color. that was the only time we were spoken to our entire visit. it was not very friendly. i feel as if the nails were kinda rushed. my friend had to keep telling her nail artist that her nails were crooked and one of them fell off while he was glueing the other hand. it’s been a couple days and both our nails are already peeling and barley holding up. mind you we paid 65 dollars you would think they would last at least a week??? i would not recommend coming here to get your nails done. i am very upset i paid that much money for nails that are already getting caught on things like they’ve been on for weeks.

Kalen Rowe I got dip on my fingers and gel on my toes. I am very happy with the colors, they are perfect. My disappointment lies in how uneven or inconsistent the nail surface is and how many times I had to point out that there was still “stuff” stuck in my nail beds. The people here are ALL very nice and accommodating if they understand what you’re asking and sometimes you have to ask multiple times.

bonnie First time trying this place out.. called to see if they accept walk ins. The lady said yes asked what I was getting done Itold her it was for 3 ladies as well as what were getting. She tell me 230. We get there 10 minutes early and its still packed mind you its mothers day so I understand they were busy. What I dont understand is why they kept telling people come back in 30 minute increments. Working on me and leaving to go work on 2 other people! When you ask your technician and show her what design and how I wanted my full set done and she says yes she can do that and the end result is NOTHING like the picture.. no! My daughter wasnt thrilled about her new set. My nails didnt get the attention they deserved and it shows! 4 days with a fresh set of gel polish and they look like I had them for weeks! I wont be returning!

Mary McCarthy Went in for my first manicure and didn’t know exactly what I needed to ask for. We got started and I said to cut my nails short as I thought that we’d put the fake nails on top. When he start to paint a clear layer I asked if we were not putting longer nails on. He said I would have needed to ask for a full set at the beginning. Not thrilled with the lack of explaining when I said it was my first manicure ( I get pedicures all the time). He didn’t even put lotion on my hands and do a massage. The paint job isn’t the best either. He just told me we were done after I washed my nails didn’t even ask did I like it. I’ve never had a pedicure where they didn’t ask of it looked alright and if I was satisfied. I will not be going back.

Julia Filipowska Called ahead for an appointment which I would recommend doing! The man doing my nails (didn’t get his name) was so sweet and paid very close attention to the details. I’m very picky when I get my nails done and I am super happy with how mine came out!!

Kristi Seal Kim has been my ‘go to’ nail professional for a couple of years. I have a standing 30 min appt every three weeks for a gel manicure. I love being able to get in and out in under 45 min and not have to get anxious about where and who to go to.... and wait! Kim is an expert with nails and I get complimented regularly on having nice and pretty nails!

Lisa Mason Went to Kim on a referral from a coworker after I admired her nails. Best decision ever! Kims salon is clean, her personality is so fun, and her work is flawless. I struggle to keep gel on my nails because they peel so much. She taught me how to prevent it and my manicure is still going strong two weeks later! I had no uneasiness about cleanliness or sterilzation between clients either - what a great feeling!

Sheila Alexander I have been going to Kim for eight years. I get compliments every single week on my nails! She is so knowledgeable and a true nail artist. I highly recommend her services. Corrie Spinner We were here in May and got the deluxe package with hot stone, and it was only $55. We came back today, got the same package and they said it was $80, because gel was now $30 more. They got our pedis mixed up and under charged one of us, and over charged the other. Not horrible service, but definitely not worth the $80.

My service is always excellent, and my nails always turn how I want them to. I even moved away for a while, and now that I am back, I still get the same great service.
