Farrells eXtreme Bodyshaping - Bloomington IL - Bloomington
Tia Moore: Awesome place! The coaches are really supportive and engaging, and you actually have a great time while getting a good workout! Since it’s a group class, I’m able to do cardio and strength training without having to think up the exercises myself. I enjoy the ease of just showing up, stretching, and getting right to work. They have multiple class times so I’ve been able to go earlier or later, if necessary. The routine of heading there everyday after work has had me working out consistently. Everyone in the gym is friendly, and there are people of all fitness intensity levels. Whether needing to do modified or following the instructor, I never feel like I’m cheating myself as long as I have a mind to compete against myself. They help with exercise form, nutrition suggestions, etc. I’ve already recommended to friends and I think everyone should join to feel stronger and more accomplished. Definitely check out this gym!
YMCA - Bloomington
Jeff Stewart: Beautiful facility, but the building was built when the area still had Golds Gym, two Golds Express, and LA Fitness. Now, those places all closed and the YMCA is too busy for a lifter to get a workout in. Its nearly impossible to use the facility during Jan/Feb when resolution culture, and then the place is overrun in June/July when college is out of session. When a family membership plus swim lessons (2 hrs/month for a 2-yr old) costs almost $150/month, its absurd to justify a membership that cant be used for a third of the year because the facility is too small.
Body of Bloomington - Bloomington
Kenadi Fuller: Amazing! Just had my first experience at Body of Bloomington. Took an intro to pole class, and it was awesome. I had so much fun and already feel like my confidence is boosted. The instructor was great and super friendly. She did a good job of breaking things down for us beginners but also offered more advanced techniques for those wanting to experiment a little more.
Game Time Gym II - Station5ONE Recreation - Bloomington
jeff Barr: Just been here to watch the small guys play soccer. Good place. The only thing I dont like is the netting hanging as a barrier. It messes with my eyes looking thru it.

Broad Fitness Studio - Bloomington
Casey Johnson: Working with Tabitha for the last 2.5 years continues to be the most impactful positive change in my life! When I first started working with Tabitha, I was struggling. I felt tired, rundown, and lacked confidence in my body. From that very first class, I immediately felt welcomed by her into an amazing, growing community. This gym has become my sanctuary, a place where I can truly disconnect and strive to better myself for an hour. I always leave feeling invigorated, accomplished, and so proud of the progress I see each week, which extends beyond workouts to how I eat, sleep, and approach my days. Its hard to imagine my life without Tabitha as a vital part of my week.
Yoga Lab - Bloomington
Sharon Carr: I love the Yoga Lab! Everyone is so kind and the instructors are top notch. Im a novice, but feel capable of attempting the different poses based on the helpful verbal instructions provided by the instructors. The heated class was an excellent workout for my body and a great release for my mind. It was a great way to start the day! Looking forward to going to more classes.
