Alyssa: One of the BEST jewelers around! John, the owner, is self employed and the one and only person I trust with my fine jewelry. He’s been in business for many many years and I will never take my jewelry or watches to anyone else. He is only there a few days a week, so sometimes it can take awhile to get things back because he is the only one working there. But I promise it is worth the wait. He does have some inventory in the store but not a whole lot, so don’t expect to be totally wowed by that when you walk in (he does mostly watch work and jewelry repairs). But some of the inventory he does have is very nice and reasonably priced! On top of that, he’s just an all around great guy! So give him a try and support a small business owner, you won’t regret it!

Maria Villada: This place needs to be shut down. They sell over priced tacky dollar store items at outrageously steep prices. The owner was extremely rude and disrespectful to my aunt who he thought didnt understand English. My aunt is very timid and wanted to buy her items and leave, but the owner was making scary remarks about the items she was going to purchase. My aunt decided to only 1 out of the 3 items she had picked out because she and I noticed that the items were falling apart and not well made. He continued to make nasty comments about what the items we were purchasing. This place seriously needs to be shut down. You have a better chance at buying better quality made items at the dollar store. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Bj reames: On a day trip with our family to Galena, my fiance asked me what I was going to be shopping for once there. I said, "nothing in particular, but I would know it when I saw it ". Bella Vintaj was literally the first store we popped into. I was immediately taken with the BEAUTIFUL handcrafted jewellery pieces. Ive been looking for the right diffuser bracelet/ earrings/ necklace for awhile and I found it here! I was somewhat concerned about how the metals may react with my skin and not being local. The store clerk (also jewelry maker, as its a family business) reassured me a money back guarantee. She was friendly, very knowledgeable and super helpful. Im one that likes to shop around BEFORE I buy, but I had no problem splurging on myself at this beautiful quaint little store. Ill be back many times Im sure.

E H: Fun items. But terrible customer service. Its unfortunate. The amount of lovely items in that store is definitely overseen by terrible customer service. No greets, no hello, no nothing. Just eye contact and a turn away. If the customer service was on their A-game, this place would have gotten a 5 stars. But theres no amount of gems, thatll change that.. which takes away from the entire "vibe and energy" of positivity. I would pay hundreds of dollars for beautiful items, if the customer service was there. But Ill walk right out of I see otherwise. I will not give this place another chance unfortunately. Went with a girlfriend and we were not impressed by the customer service skills here

Deanna K: Shopping in Galena & we were so excited to see a Gelato place!! I really wish I had known earlier I also would’ve gotten coffee in the morning here! I had the little cup of lemon gelato & it was so good!! Very refreshing on a hot summer day. We went back later to try another flavor but unfortunately the store closed at 5:00pm. That was a disappointment as it makes the perfect dessert after a dinner in town. (Hint hint…you stay open longer people will come!)
