I started with another law firm in Ottawa, and this being my first experience with selling by owner, I was a little nervous and had a few simple questions. I was made to feel like a bother and less than intelligent. I quickly changed to Cantlin Law Firm and it was the best decision ever. I spoke with Anne and was immediately put at ease and made to feel comfortable. Anne is patient, kind, knowledgeable, organized and beyond competent. She is always available, if she doesn’t actually answer her phone she will return the call promptly. She answers every question without judgement or malice and makes sure you understand before ending the conversation. As is typical with real estate transactions, we encountered a few hiccups along the way but Anne was always at the ready, on top of every situation and guided the process thru to a smooth ending, Including facilitating the closing with me in a different state. I could not be more pleased with their service and I cannot recommend then highly enough!

1 /5 Caryn Woolley: Jack didn’t remain impartial during settlement of an Estate. He nor the Trustee, who was and still is his client prior to Estate handling, never had other two beneficiaries best interests in mind. My opinion, his goal was to take as much money from beneficiaries as he could, why else would he put funds from sale in high interest CD, eventually going to income account, and beneficiaries now have to pay more taxes on earned income because of this unethical move. Account office staff needs to read up on RMD and don’t convey, “there’s no RMD because “name” is dead” as stated in email.
