John I used Bill Keene in my divorce just recently. Thankfully, my wife and I worked out our differences and relationship and a divorce wasnt ultimately necessary, but I never felt Mr Keene ever dropped the ball or kept things from me or didnt serve me very well. In fact I received a small refund at the end out of my initial $2800 fee. I was always kept informed and he went to bat for me when my wife tried to delay the process an inordinate amount of time and he succeeded at stopping that. When I asked for timer to try and reconcile he fully cooperated. I do recommend his services!

Brian Reeder I recently sold my home (by owner). I started with another law firm in Ottawa, and this being my first experience with selling by owner, I was a little nervous and had a few simple questions. I was made to feel like a bother and less than intelligent. I quickly changed to Cantlin Law Firm and it was the best decision ever. I spoke with Anne and was immediately put at ease and made to feel comfortable. Anne is patient, kind, knowledgeable, organized and beyond competent. She is always available, if she doesn’t actually answer her phone she will return the call promptly. She answers every question without judgement or malice and makes sure you understand before ending the conversation. As is typical with real estate transactions, we encountered a few hiccups along the way but Anne was always at the ready, on top of every situation and guided the process thru to a smooth ending, Including facilitating the closing with me in a different state. I could not be more pleased with their service and I cannot recommend then highly enough!

Ryan Godwin Cheaper is not always better dont do it....save up a little more money and get someone respectfull and someone who wants to help...also if you are 8months preggo he will take your money still and show absolutely no sympathy...it was basically me begging to get some money back bc he could not do anything in my case which happens but he lit did the bare minimum and treated and talked to me like crap he is so rude....just get someone else he honestly doesnt care about your situation or anything...

Eileen Marie Recommended by the Illinois Bar Assoc. for a simple property dispute: existing fence of 30 years. He refused to take the case, which is fine, but he was rude about it. He didnt read the papers thoroughly. 10 - 15 minutes worth. Also, didnt give a reason. Its okay. I wouldnt want the representation. But I was disappointed.

When we arrived to close on our home, he did nothing but whine and complain about having to be there, and shows my fiancé and I slim to no respect, to to the point of screaming and yelling frantically at having to be there on a Friday, exclaiming that he had more important things to do. We left the signing very disappointed, and for our first home buying experience, it was atrocious. Never. Use. Him.
