1 /5 Tim Andrews: STAY AWAY....company did our personal and small business taxes last year and this year. But this year, we could not make an appointment or talk with anyone, told me I had to just drop off taxes and they will get done in order of the pile. First we get a call stating we owe $3500, when asked why as we received a refund last year, she could not explain it to me. Got a call from Glenn, received a lot of lip service and was told we should hire a book keeper. Paid them $600 to have them file them only to find a form was missing and taxes were rejected and now we owe $6000. Decided to get a 2nd opinion from another tax service, they found basic mistakes, did some basic adjustments and now we received a $2500 refund and only paid $250. Spoke with Glenn again, explained what was found by the other tax service, to which he stated, it is always a good idea to get 2nd opinions....... whaaattt? After being floored by that remark, I asked for a refund which he told me he cannot do. Tried several times to reach Michael the owner to review my concern which he has not even tried to get back to me. You are just a number to them and they do not care about small businesses or people in general. One star does not do them justice.

For our second opinion, the CPA received the exact information from a business accounting software. A copy of Crystal Lake Tax & Financials completed filing was the only other information given to the CPA, which is where the errors were found. Crystal Lake Tax & Financial was given proof of the refunds, but since they have already been fixed and filed, it doesnt appear that the outcome would have changed.
This is beyond belief that after many phone calls asking for the owner to contact me, it takes social media blasts to hear back from him. Businesses can be operated by anyone, but the great ones look after their customers when they are in the wrong.
