5 /5 Nathan Fair: Havent been in the area in a long time, and I came in today to get a month membership since Ill be in the area for a minute. The young lady at the desk was very polite and kind, and help me set up my account. Big fan of the 24/7 scan feature and that if for whatever reason I cant sleep or something, I can go get a workout in. This place has changed tremendously since the last time I was here. For one, its much bigger. You can easily move around freely without bumping into other equipment or human beings.
All of the equipment is well maintained and looks brand spanking new. There is a variety of different Life Fitness and Nautilus machines, cable machines, free weights, dumbbells and barbells, a few squat racks, a stair master, a few treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, assault bike and treadmill. Bathrooms were well maintained and clean as well with locker style shelving both inside and outside of the bathrooms. The temperature was set to 74 degrees which I thought was a little warm for a gym, but I was honestly there to sweat out toxins and vacation food, so I didnt mind it being warm.
There are mirrors all along the free weight area to check your form. The cardio area has three televisions for viewing if youre into watching something instead of rocking out to music to get you motivated to lift heavy weight! Theres a vending machine in the back of the area for different drinks and bottled water. There was also a case with a variety of different supplements, and some merchandise behind the counter.
Im sure I will notice more and come back to edit this later on if I missed something pertinent. I only have one con or complaint, and its really not even that big of a deal - there is no water fountain, however, if youre not lazy you can just do what I did and fill your bottle up in the bathroom sink... All in all, this is a pretty fantastic little gym and I was more than surprised at the amount of amenities and quality of equipment. Good job taking care of it.
