5 /5 Raksheen: I had a such a lovely experience finding this jewelry store in Chicago. This is a historic shop, and I believe is one of the first jewelry stores in Chicago! The owner, Craig, was such a pleasure to talk to. His grand started this store in the 1899. He is one of the rare jewelers that spends time talking to you about your needs and helps you find a piece that fits your budget and interests. He has so many unique pieces, and even more in the back. For someone who was visiting and had a very low budget (for real jewelry), he was able to provide me with so many options. He also gave me so much knowledge. I love looking at jewelry, and there is so much vintage designer jewelry as well. The prices here are pretty good!

He was so willing to work with me, and he ended up customizing an estate piece to create exactly what I was looking for. The price was very reasonable, and my fiancé loves the ring! 5 /5 B I: I can only say incredibly nice things about my experience with H. Horwitz. I worked specifically with Craig. I came in with an odd request, and they helped me. They took a unique, but cheap, old ring I had purchased about 15 years ago off of eBay and completely remade it into something I now use as my wedding ring. It was very reasonably priced, and the customer service was absolutely incredible. Sincerely, if you are looking to have a ring made or just looking for ideas, take the time to go talk with this company. If you need help in this area, or just need a place to start with ideas, go here and talk with them.

5 /5 Christa Robins: My fiancé and I had a custom engagement ring made with H. Horowitz Co, it turned out absolutely beautiful! We wanted a lab grown diamond and he was able to find us exactly what we were looking for through his vendors. We then showed him the band we were interested in creating and he helped make it with all the custom specifications we wanted! We ended up saving money and couldn’t be happier with the finished product!

They were fantastic from start to finish, with a great detailed and iterative approach, giving us sketches, a CAD design, and ultimately the completed ring. They were great allowing me to provide my own diamond, customizing the design, and even accommodating some awesome personal touches (embedded stones inside the band).
