2 /5 Corey Franklin: I have been in here many times to look at things. They do have interesting things. Be very aware of their gold jewelry to my knowledge. I bought a gold nugget ring from here about 13 years ago. I definitely dont have a receipt that old. I never really wore the ring much. I decided to open my safe and clean it up and wear it one day. To my surprise it had tarnished to the point that there was no gold on. True story......I would post the picture of it if I didnt throw it in the trash!

5 /5 Sasha Eads: I came to Mike to fix my wedding set that had broken 3 times. He said that he would be able to fix it for me. Before fixing I received a call from Mike asking me to stop by as he had some amazing deals on new wedding sets that he wanted me to look at. I ended up purchasing a new wedding set and he even removed my stone from my original set and placed it in the new one. I love my new set and get compliments all day long on it. The new set was also appraised for way more than I payed coming into McLean County Exchange. Thanks Mike!!!

I had no idea what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. They were professional, friendly, and well-worth the effort. I highly recommend taking the time to pay them a visit - I just made enough money to pay for Christmas!

They got me setup with what I was looking for price wise and helped me find exactly what I wanted! They even let me try on the beautiful jewelry. So much fun! This place is GREAT! if you havent been here, you should definitely check it out! Ill definitely be going back to visit these guys!

So before you sell your gold, silver, platinum or coin collections or your family treasures, make sure you stop at McLean County Exchange first to get the most money for your items. This is a great shop they have one of most extensive jewelry inventories of anywhere in the Twin Cities, and are never afraid to dicker on price. And they buy old gold & scrap gold and silver as well. Parking is nice and the store is very clean, their hours are Monday thru Friday from 9.00am to 5.30pm and on Saturday they are open from 9.00am to 5:00pm,

Peg Haerr: BEWARE!! I was away from my home city, so I took my watch here because the battery needed to be changed. The lady there changed it, and it ran for about 5 minutes. I took it back, and the man opened it up, tweaked something and muttered, "Its ok now. Itll be fine."...and proceeded to "dismiss me. It ran for about an hour that time. Today I took my watch to a certified watch repairman....not sure what that couple at Gold Star Jewelers did to my watch, but its probably going to cost $85 to fix....Dont take anything you really care about to these people. Their English is poor, and several signs in their showcase are misspelled, also...

Laura Dawson: Do NOT order from this company. I placed an order on April 8, 2025 for 3 items worth $140. I had to call for my items 3 times. Finally received 2 out of my 3 items on May 20, 25 and one of the two items was NOT the color that I ordered. The third item has never come!! My last attempt to call today ended with "call failed". I am out $75 and most importantly the keepsake of my grandsons rose petals. He only survived 2 days so every memento is priceless. So sad and mad at the same time.

Came in on the 16th to a PURPLE stone & said it would take an addition week to replace that. & he wouldnt charge me for THEIR MISTAKE???! I said I was frustrated (about their mistake) & he said Ill give you $50 back good luck and go have somebody else do it. LUCKLY HES CLOSING THE STORE! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Noah Harless: Was cleaning up and found a wristwatch Id thought I lost, and these folks were Googles 1 recommended pick for a battery replacement. On my way there, the wristband broke to the watch, so I figured Id have to get the battery replaced here and order a wristband online... Nope! They got me taken care of in a few minutes. Ran me $45 for both the battery replacement and the band. Ive got some other watches laying around somewhere that need new batteries, Ill definitely be coming back to get them replaced here. Cant recommend enough!

However, not only did I pick up the two items I intended, the sale staff showed me the sales rack and picked up a few extra things. Shavonne Pounders: I stopped shopping here due to the fact that they will sell you broken items AND sell you a warranty only to not honor the warranty. I purchased NUMEROUS electronics like a dummy only for about 2 or 3 to actually work. I’m honestly convinced they just bring items from their home and employees when their tired of them and try to make a buck off of them because they very rarely ever accept a pawn when I’m in there and nothing WORKS!
