Staley Credit Union - Decatur Jamea Scott: I’ve been a loyal member of Staley Credit Union for over five years. When I first joined, it was because the branch was conveniently located near my home—but I stayed because of the incredible staff. Rachel always greeted my family by name, Abby was so kind to both me and my children, and Sherry was consistently warm, supportive, and encouraging—especially when I talked about wanting to save. Their genuine care made every visit feel personal and uplifting.
Unfortunately, things have changed. With the new staff, I no longer feel welcomed. While the current Abbi is nice and has been pleasant to interact with, the rest of the team makes me feel uncomfortable and looked down on. It’s upsetting and honestly hurtful to feel this shift in energy and attitude. If it weren’t for the convenience of the location, I would have already closed all of our accounts.
This used to be a place where I felt respected and seen. Now, I leave feeling judged and dismissed. I truly hope this feedback encourages the team to reflect on how they treat long-standing members—because customers notice, and it matters.
