1 /5 Hayley Lea: Honestly, awful. I scheduled my free consultation with Megan, and she sounded like she could help me solve my custody issues. She proposed a plan, and if it were successful, stated I should receive some of my retainer back. Once I retained Megan, we did not follow the plan she had proposed, and (almost, if not more than) $3,000 later, I took care of everything myself. I was charged for e-mails never sent, which I disputed and got taken off the bill (that part was a plus). The communication was sub-par, and I received conflicting messages within the same thread. A lot of my money was spent on my attorneys consulting with each other on the next plan of action. Not a whole lot was actually done, and my co-parent and I ended coming to an agreement ourselves (thankfully). Money from our savings was wasted on little to no action, and I wish I wouldve just gone the route of doing everything myself from the get-go. I would avoid this firm, if possible. Also, when I requested my file, there were hardly any documents within it to show what all their "consulting" each other had been about, and it took over a month to receive my file due to their paralegal quitting. Not happy with the service I received.
