Jordan Picha: Definitely one of the best gyms around! They offer a variety of workouts involving cardio and strength training. I never leave the gym feeling unchallenged. But one of their greatest strengths by far are the instructors. Its obvious they all love what they do & always push or encourage you to challenge yourself just a little bit more. Ive gained so much strength since joining GRIT! Would highly recommend to anyone
    Anytime Fitness - New Lenox
Jonathon Hill: This is a great gym! Every time I go there it is clean and in order. The staff is very nice and attentive to any issues. They have a wide variety of equipment that is in great shape. I highly recommend getting your gym membership here!
    Anytime Fitness Romeoville - Romeoville
Martyna Katz: I’ve been going to Anytime Fitness in Romeoville for a while now, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The facilities are clean, modern, and well-maintained, with a great variety of equipment for all fitness levels. Whether youre into strength training, cardio, or classes, there’s something here for everyone. The staff is super friendly and always willing to help out or offer guidance. The trainers are knowledgeable and approachable, and the overall vibe of the gym is motivating and positive. I especially appreciate how they keep everything organized and sanitized — it really shows they care about members’ well-being. Also, shoutout to the group classes — they’re fun, challenging, and a great way to stay consistent. Definitely worth the membership! Highly recommend Anytime Fitness in Romeoville if you’re looking for a supportive, clean, and top-notch place to work out.
    Fitness Premier Minooka - Minooka
Diane C.: Kids and some adults camp out on the machines and congregate all the time. Most people don’t wipe down the machines and neither does staff. They are currently building a suite which will include new offerings along with a few things such as massage chairs and sauna which have always been available before but now will cost an extra $30 a month. Why take away what has already been promised during our current membership when we signed up a few years ago? Looking for somewhere else where they value loyalty and membership.
Fit 4 Life Fitness Center - Romeoville
Tatum Wittmer: This gym has gone way downhill. There is no space for all the equipment they have now. Every piece of equipment is smushed between other machines. It’s always crowded and I feel others breathing on me at least twice a session. So many people don’t clean up after themselves (and a majority of the staff doesn’t either). The classes downstairs continue to harass us for dropping weights (if you’re lifting heavy, they’re gonna make noise) and none of the staff there does anything about it. Last but not least, there is zero gym etiquette. Kids stand around machines for 45mins + not allowing anyone else to get their workout in. And again. No one does anything. Very disappointed that we have to consider finding a new gym at this point, but it’s getting horrible here.

Antonio Giannetta: Reclaim to this day is still my favorite gym I’ve ever worked out at. I was a member throughout highschool and college and never had any complaints. The staff are very respectful and everyone that goes there is super nice. Unfortunately I had to cancel my membership (of course after they just added saunas) because I moved away. Would totally recommend this gym to anyone that is new to fitness, the environment is very uplifting!
    Aspire Gymnastics Academy - Joliet
Max Fox: Very strictly to Mach rules , I signed up my son he don’t like and I want to use many for my daughter payment and they not allow and no return many. Be very careful with this school some coaches are kids with no experience.
C.W. Avery Family YMCA - Plainfield
Izumi Ninensei: I decided to end my membership at the YMCA after about 6 months or so and Id like to add my input. Good things: Overall a nice, modern gym with lots of varying activities and this location is open everyday, or at least I think it was. For some reason it was closed on Sunday so maybe things have changed. Also the family pool area is very nice with two water slides and everyone seens to be enjoying themselves there. Things that bothered me: Maybe this is a common thing for gyms with daycare but its only open until 12pm, and it reopens sometime later in the afternoon like 4:30. This personally didnt work out for me because my ideal time to get to the gym would probably be like at 1pm but when it has to be before 12pm I feel so rushed and dont even want to go and after 4:30 is also not a good time because thats around dinner time and the day is getting too late for my little ones already. When the family pass costs almost $100 each this was a major reason why I decided to discontinue it as this family pass was barely getting used. The only other thing that bothered me one time was when a young lifeguard told me once that I could stay in the pool but then he quickly changed his mind and said I had to leave because of swim lessons. Im already over it and it was my fault for not knowing the pool wasnt available on Saturdays before 12 due to swin lessons, but it was very annoying and such an inconvenience since like I stated before I HAD to get there before 12 because of the daycare hours, so again, those daycare hours really just made give up on this place. I have to say though it is a nice facility overall but its just difficult when you gotta bring the kids along. The problem isnt magically solved just because theres a daycare and I realized that the hard way. Im sure this place would be perfect for someone who is single and isnt subjected to going at certain times of the day and so on.
    Orangetheory Fitness - Shorewood
Billy Chapman: I love this place! I can not remember what caused me to walk through the doors and sign up. It has been the best decision I made on my fitness journey. Orangetheory is more than a workout, it is mental health support. If you are on the fence about joining, you should come and take a class and see what it is all about. The members and coaches are amazing. It is a very accepting place that meets you where you are in your fitness journey.
    Dimensions Fitness Center - Channahon
stnee 333: Only speaking about the weight room and indoor track. They have a decent dumbbell rack, free weights and machines but nothing outstanding. Its nice to have the indoor track to run on in colder weather. The price for a membership is very reasonable. However, the space is pretty tight. Theres really not much open floor space for stretching. Instead, youre better off trying to find a corner in the track to occupy. Finally, youre not allowed to bring a coat, gym bag or bag of any sort into the area. You must leave it in your car or in a locker.
