1 /5 James: Since the new renter took over there has been no noticeable improvement to the health club’s condition. The equipment is outdated, often dirty, and in many cases, broken and unusable for extended periods. This has severely impacted our ability to maintain a consistent workout routine. The locker rooms are in a deplorable state and require thorough and regular cleaning. The closure of the pool and the permanent cancellation of several classes have further diminished the value of our memberships. Moreover, my wife has been approached multiple times in the parking lot by individuals looking into cars and soliciting money, which raises serious concerns about the safety and security of the premises. It is also disheartening to note that many staff members appear unhappy and have expressed intentions to seek employment elsewhere due to poor treatment. This atmosphere is far from the “premiere” health club experience that was promised under the new management. Peoria offers many superior health club alternatives that provide better facilities, security, and customer service.
