DakotahBill99 Update: Got the work they quoted me at a minimum of 2k for about $700 at Daves Auto in carbondale. Warranty and all. Iam not one to make a habit of complaining about local businesses, so I held off on posting this. However after uncovering another thing that wasnt done correctly I would like to post a warning. Pats took my vehicle and had it for nearly a week. In that time they found a blown fuse and replaced it. I wasnt convinced and asked them to look into the issue further and drive the vehicle. The ODO reading they gave me didnt increase a single mile according to their work order. They said they drove it 6 times over the course of the truck being there. The fuse they replaced blew before making it to the Kroger gas station. They replaced it again once I took my vehicle back and it blew the same way, but not before being handed a quote for nearly 2 grand for the issue I had troubleshot it down to myself. On top of that, getting any updates about my vehicle was like pulling teeth. I hope my experience was a one off and that these kinds of "fixes" dont happen often. I recommend Daves Auto in Carbondale. He did the job that pats quoted at 2 grand for less than 900 with warranty.

Chris Fleming Was not impressed with customer service. I was told that my truck would be worked on in a timely manner and it was two months and still didnt get fixed. I was also told that a cylinder in the motor only had 90lbs of compression. After I had to have it towed home I did a compression test on it and every cylinder showed 155lb of compression or higher. The business still charged me a higher shop rate and still didnt fix the problem. I would not recommend this business if you wanted it fixed in a timely manner or fixed right.

Emm Bee BEST SERVICE LOCALLY! After leaving another facility because of bad service, I stopped in to get an oil change. The prices were just a tad bit more expensive than the other place, but the service reflected the price difference. I was in and out in less than 15 min (there were no other customers during my visit). I was given different options and the worker explained to me the benefits of each one. I WILL RETURN!

Diane This is where I prefer to go and get my vehicle serviced. I have tried several over the years. Being a female they tend to talk down to you. Like you are an incompetent fool when it comes to your vehicle. Not at this establishment. They treat equally and dont try to sell you things not needed. They are quick which I love. I just sit in my vehicle and usually am done in under 15 minutes. The price is reasonable and the gentlemen are respectable. Give them a try.

Ryan Olsen Reviews seemed promising, the final results not so much. I brought my truck in with parts provided. Was supposed to be lower ball joints, upper control arms, alignment. Given that I brought the wrong parts, I understood there would be a convenience fee, but never thought it would drive the price up 700 more dollars. Shop claimed to have called me but with no response or call back… Too bad they were calling the wrong number. I provided my info along with my moms in case I was at work and they only called my mom. I also the explained my issue in advance and they didn’t even touch it. They ignored my blown out tie rod and replaced the other one that was rusty. Got the truck back thinking my problems would be gone and now I have more than I started with. Truck pulls extremely bad to the left and the left something lose in my suspension bc I now have a rattle that I didn’t have before. Took my truck to a family friend that is enrolled in John an automotive classes and took less than 10 mins to tell me that your shop is a joke. Edit: No dishonesty here. Most shops offer to make it right but you can stay in denial. I understand you got other cars to work on and it slowed you down temporarily, but that does nothing to explain the extremely poor work ethics. The boots on my control arms aren’t even sitting where they should be, one of my brake lines were never put back on their clamp, and you never addressed my primary complaint- the extreme shaking of the wheel above 30mph. Overall you can tell everything was rushed, if someone pays 1300 dollars for control arms (with pre pressed ball joints, mind you) and an alignment. Take the time and don’t be sloppy. My front end has a clunking noise that wasn’t there before and now it pulls so hard to the left that it’s not safe. Although you told my mother about the pulling, you should’ve left a voicemail bc those do exist and I would’ve understood and told you to keep the tire placement original. I hear the guy behind you does better work anyway.

Tyler Galbraith I hit a deer a while back, totalled my car and everything. I kept looking at different places that would fix my car for a reasonable price. Dons was the ONLY place that would fix what i wanted for a very good price. Everywhere else i looked wanted around $2500 when dons wanted $591. I know what it sounds like, cheap labor for cheap results but not this place. They went above and beyond and fixed different issues without me even asking them. To anyone who needs their car repaired for a decent price, go to dons. They will work with you and make sure youre satisfied with the results.

Sara Jones Went there June 14th to have a hub assembly replaced and have them find the small coolant leak that my car had. He didnt want to do a pressure test to find the leak and claimed that the test would damage my heater core. So he recommended putting stop leak in my radiator. So now as of almost 2 weeks later my vehicle has gone from a minor leak to a very large leak. And a cracked radiator so far. My radiator was not leaking prior to visiting this shop.

Jesse will figure out what you actually need serviced on your vehicle, and will get you on the road in a reasonable time frame that doesnt kill your wallet. Gus is also a great guy. Between the two of them there isnt anything I dont think they can tackle. (no I wasnt asked to write this, they are a solid company)
