Andrea Buch Don was great! I purchased a used Jeep from a private seller, and just a couple of miles out of town, it broke down and had to be towed. At first, we thought it was the transmission, so I called Don at AAMCO. He was able to give me a quote over the phone right away because he had just worked on a similar vehicle. Once I had the Jeep towed to his shop, Don discovered the transmission was actually fine—but it needed a new motor. Being from out of town and not knowing anything about AAMCO or Don, I was incredibly nervous. Replacing an engine is a huge expense, and I was worried about getting taken advantage of. But Don was absolutely great. He was honest, upfront, and helpful throughout the entire process. If I lived closer, I would take all my vehicles to his shop. Im so grateful I found someone trustworthy to work on my car, especially while dealing with such a stressful situation from out of town!

Tammy lee Just had the best, most pleasant customer service I have had in years! I decided to just stop in because the bolts in my jeep were rusted and couldnt get the stepsides unscrewed. I asked the gentleman at the counter...I regretfully didnt get his name. He came out to the parking lot on the spot, crawled under the jeep and took them off.They also have 20 dollar oil changes right now and a open house coming up. Professional and friendly. Stop in there and give them your business! You wont regret it!

Scott Achterberg Tony and sons is my new go to mechanic. Last year I was having issues w a box van I own. They test drove it multiple times but the issues didnt replicate. There was no charge for the test drives they did. Earlier this year a different vehicle required a major repair, they handled it quickly and efficiently w no additional charges and it now runs like a top. Last week the same vehicle was sending abs alerts so I took it in expecting to spend $1000 or more. I was pleasantly surprised to find out this repair was covered under a warranty to my previous repair. They did not have to tell me that but they were honest and fixed the issue at no charge. They also fixed my daughters car quickly and efficiently. Thanks so much Tony and SONS I will highly recommend you to anyone who needs automotive repairs.

Dyan Koperly They are good with filling your car up with things it needs and doing tires, when you take it to get fixed they will go through it to find out what other things it will need and I think that just takes more time out of your day they should ask first if you want that done. The thing that really irritated me is they will give out a very extreme amount to fix something so little. I would just ask around family friends or people you know that are reasonable before you take this extremely expensive ridiculous route.

Mia Richardson I initially brought my car in to get serviced because I had a heating issues. I was only getting heat on the driver side plus my check Engine light was on. They were charging me $400 for a diagnostic test. I get a call after test was completed and was told several things was wrong with the car but the main issue was getting the coolant system replaced and a water pump. So I paid $2500 for those repairs to be completed. Went to go pick up my car on a Friday an hour before they closed. It was about 65 degrees this day so I didn’t need to turn my heat on. About 10:30pm I go to the gym and noticed that I had no heat what so ever. My vents were literally blowing out cold air. I contacted them immediately Saturday morning but the service center department was closed. Here it is Monday I bring my car in to get looked at again. Get random text messages from the manager asking about my warranty as well as if I let someone else work on my vehicle before bringing it to them for repairs. So this is when I knew something suspicious was happening. Me being suspicious was correct because they discovered that my heating core needed to be replaced and gave me an estimate of $2800. I asked how was that missed during the diagnostic test? The manager answered the question without answering the question. The heating core was the initial problem not the coolant system. I could have paid for the heating core to be replaced first and got the coolant system fixed later. So here I am with no heat in my car. Remind you I’m a travel nurse so I drive at least an hour or so to and from work daily in a cold vehicle. They only suggestion was offered by the manager was taking the $400 that I paid for the diagnostic test and putting it towards getting the heating core repaired which still leaves $2400 balance. These people only care about how much money they can shake from your pockets. I had to use Christmas money to get the repairs done the first time. This is not right to treat costumers this way I know a lot of places get over on women because most of us don’t know about cars. It’s wrong and distasteful to do such thing. They could have offered to replace the heating core for half the price or at least for half the laboring price. How do you bring your car to the shop for repairs and after repairs the issue is worse. If I could give this place a negative zero I would. Good things does not come to those who get over on others.

Gizem Ozgol Worst service ever… We had several issues with our car we created an appointment with them and they checked the car and said no any problems 2 days later we almost die because of problems we mentioned earlier. Couple of times we had different problems not solved also they changed us bc they couldn’t find the problem. If you want headaches just go there. It was really really bad experience. Because of the service department we sold the car very quickly.

Seems like unnecessary profiling considering we come there regularly and pay in our name for services, as does our entire family in the local.. Yes, sir, yes we do mind you asking for the second time in one visit, considering, you also asked the same person (my husband) every time we go in (multiple times every visit) for 2 years straight.

Maria Villec Good first impression. I’m newish to the area and this was my first experience getting a car repair in Peoria, and Hiller Auto had been recommended to me. I made an appointment online. The car diagnostic took just under an hour, and I was given the cost up front. They didn’t try to sell me on other ‘potential issues’ or try to convince me to pay for anything extra like others sometimes do. They just told me what was making the noise in my car and needed to be fixed and how much it would cost. The cost was a little higher than I expected. However I didn’t really shop around, and the repair time was quick, and most importantly, my car was successfully repaired and no longer makes a noise when I drive. The repair was done in just a couple of hours and I picked it up no problem. So far so good. Overall good first impression and would recommend.

Romario Meza Not one to write reviews, but they exceeded my expectations. They were very kind and polite and explained everything that they were doing on my truck. I needed my power steering flushed and new breaks. They found the issue with the power steering and explained it wasn’t just a flush that was needed, that there was a leak. I was extremely pleased with how quickly they did everything, but also most importantly THEY COMMUNICATED. The truck feels like new. I will only be using them from now on. Definitely recommend

Brian Carroll Honest car service! I had a drain on my car battery (an interior light was barely barely on and draining the battery). They could have taken me for a ride, but only charged me for an hour of labor, even though I think they spent more time in it than that. I would recommend this place!!!

Struck up a conversation with the man behind the front desk and asked him for an estimate on repairs for another vehicle and Big City was nearly half of what I was quoted from another shop. I will definitely be moving my future repair needs here!

Kalli Farbisz I’ve gone to BCA three times now for car repairs on my old jeep. They are so kind and so helpful. I’m a Bradley student and their location is perfect, but the service keeps me coming back. I know if anything goes wrong, I can go there and not have to worry about my car. Nickolas Webster Doug replaced the AC Compressor on my Hyundai, at cheaper than Mike Miller Hyundai’s quote, and under his own upfront estimate. And you can count on him using his vast experience to do it right vs chancing that you get a dealership tech that may or may not do a good job. He used a genuine Hyundai compressor rather than ordering a cheaper refurbished part at autozone, for instance, that you’d have to worry about with some places. He read the Hyundai serial number to me when ordering it. He fit me in right away, and explained the repair and took the time to answer questions. You can’t ask for a better mechanic! Be sure to give him a call.

Mary Wenzel Doug is great! His work is awesome. He will let you know exactly what is going on and doesnt mansplain. He is honest and kind. Doug is priced better than most places Ive tried. I have been going to him for years now and wouldnt get my older car serviced anywhere else. It is a shame there is only 5 stars because he deserves 10!

Rodney Jenks While making a 1000-mile move to Iowa, we pulled into a rest stop to see we had 9 lbs of air in the tow car tire. My pump wouldnt air it up, but an amazing trucker pulled in and offered to air up the tire! We prayed our way to Peoria and found Beachlers Tire close to the highway. Beachlers staff was amazing. They removed and patched the tire without offloading the car. The culprit was a 2" screw in the tire. Thank you for the top notch service!

Mike Nauman I really like the Service Pack 3. It includes a full inspection of the vehicle. The extras issues that they detected and were able to rectify while at their facility has made my 2018 vehicle drive and perform much better. I was prepared to pay for the extra service and parts knowing a seven year old vehicle can’t go that long without having some wear and tear.

I have visited this business several times in the last 2-3 years for a variety of car repairs. Staffed with several technicians, Carl makes sure the needs of his customers are well and timely served.
