The whole congregation is not just very loving but also keeps me accountable how to live according to the Word of God! I love that we have an amazing singles ministry comprised with a lot of professionals, we get to learn and grow together in our spiritual walk, and have lot of fun while worshipping God! Studying the Bible with women here really helped me deepen my convictions and have a closer relationship with God!

Cheri Brooksbank The church service is great. It is one of the few churches that actually sing Hymns. Nowadays most churches rely on choruses. I guess I am old fashioned but I love hymns. There is nothing wrong with just singing choruses but hymns will always hold a special place in my heart. The congregation is friendly and the pastors sermons have the Bible verses listed so you can follow along. If you do not have a Bibie they have Bibles in the chair backs that you can use.

Joel Summers The people there were extremely nice. Lots of young married couples. Pastor Jason was very friendly and open. I feel it is a Gospel centered church where you can learn a lot.

So much love not only from the members, but one on one sessions with the Bishop at any giving time. To have excess to a wonderful man of God at any hour is rare, because you have to go through so many hoops. Thank God for this church and the shephard that guides it.

Kevin A gorgeous edifice! Beautiful house of worship. Historic architecture in Peoria, IL. The church was designed by Casper Mehler and completed in 1889. With buff colored Anamosa limestone and twin 230 foot spires this is a work of art. Preservation in Peoria. I have not yet visited inside this church, but I am looking forward to it! ...And today I had the chance to go in to St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception. I got permission to photograph the gorgeous interior and come away with a few pretty decent images I think.

Andrew Welbig I was in town for work and stopped by for daily mass and visit the tomb of Ven. Fulton Sheen, as well as the relic collection. The sisters and priests were very welcoming and very informative. I was taken aback by the beauty of the church from the stained glass windows to the painted stations of the Cross. The huge number of relics from the most amazing Saints was worth looking at and praying with for far longer than I had time to give. The visit was so great that I came back the next morning before work as well! I wish I had been able to spend more time there!

The ladies at the front desk were really sweet, and youre able to venture in to look at the high ceilings, the painted ceilings, the detail of the building its a beautiful building.Must see if youre in the area

Michael Erdmier My home church and an amazing place to experience the presence of God. The worship is loud and proud. This is a place that accepts people with open arms and do not judge. It is more modern and less formal. Shows that you dont need to dress in a suit or nice clothes just to go to church. Church is about the body (the people) and celebrating God, because he deserves it all. If youve never been here, I strongly encourage you to go. Plenty of volunteer work available, and everyone is very friendly. You will definitely not regret coming to this church!

Michelle Kehlert This is my home church. The praise music is the best in this area. Like a live Christian concert every Sunday. Sermons are steering on an honest path to truth in our Christ, Jesus and knowing God as a Father. Truly come as you are environment; if its a Sunday best or the rags on your back.

David Fox My wife & I have attending Northwoods for over 8 years and we feel its just getting better & better. We usually go on Saturday night, it just fits our schedule better. Last night the worship team was great, as usual & Cals message was awesome. My wife & I feel he has always been a super speaker & pastor, but as he ages he is more humble & connects with his audience now more than ever before. As I sat there last night drinking it all in, I just prayed that everyone I know could be there to share that beautiful moment, experiencing our heavenly fathers love (our heavenly daddys love) & be blessed. They minister to my heart!

Adam Regguinti If I could give a 0 star I absolutely would. Never have I ever been thrown out of a church, let alone the reason because a couple of 2 yr olds were acting up a little just being a normal 2 yr old. We were doing our part doing what we could keeping them quiet enough but the old lady and middle aged man ushers between sections 400-500 disrupted the Christmas service several times telling us to keep our kids quiet and to leave and to watch the show from outside because there were TVs. No empathy whatsoever and complete disregard for families with children. We sat in the family with children section specifically for this reason and this lady and man did not care. This was absolutely pathetic and I am astonished on the level of disrespect received from these two. The fact that we were told to leave goes to show that this church has no love for our children and my family will never return. Thank you for showing your true colors and what your church is about.

Livin Large A small Christian Baptist church in The Lanes, Crossroads has nice people. I rated it four out of five stars, and its main area that could use improvement is communications. As mentioned the congregation and people of the area are nice, and the preeching and religious education are superb. The church is handicap accessible and not too crowded, its interior slowly being updated. Now and then there is food and coffee, and at the time of this writing Crossroads was supporting a food bank within a food desert, a local area with no grocery stores. Larger activities such as revival weeks and kids Bible camps are prevalent, engagement with the near and distant community encouraged, and the water invited to be turned on as pastors elude to welcoming the message of the Holy Spirit while mitigating distractions, studying the word, and recognizing temptations. Overall a good place with two Sunday services, one in the evening at 6pm and one at 11am, and a group study service on Wednesday at 7pm...so no excuses.

cmeister1975 I came here with my parents for a tour looking for a "non-mega" church that still had a good Sunday school service for children (6 & 7 yr olds) and was amazed by this place. Full secure child services and truly amazing music and service!!! Just absolutely loved it and we will be joining soon.
