    Kevin: A gorgeous edifice! Beautiful house of worship. Historic architecture in Peoria, IL. The church was designed by Casper Mehler and completed in 1889. With buff colored Anamosa limestone and twin 230 foot spires this is a work of art. Preservation in Peoria. I have not yet visited inside this church, but I am looking forward to it! ...And today I had the chance to go in to St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception. I got permission to photograph the gorgeous interior and come away with a few pretty decent images I think.

    Michael Erdmier: My home church and an amazing place to experience the presence of God. The worship is loud and proud. This is a place that accepts people with open arms and do not judge. It is more modern and less formal. Shows that you dont need to dress in a suit or nice clothes just to go to church. Church is about the body (the people) and celebrating God, because he deserves it all. If youve never been here, I strongly encourage you to go. Plenty of volunteer work available, and everyone is very friendly. You will definitely not regret coming to this church!

    cmeister1975: I came here with my parents for a tour looking for a "non-mega" church that still had a good Sunday school service for children (6 & 7 yr olds) and was amazed by this place. Full secure child services and truly amazing music and service!!! Just absolutely loved it and we will be joining soon.

    Amelia: This large church provides both contemporary and traditional services. Expect a handful of songs followed by a request for your contact information and a voluntary money offering. The sermon is the last portion of the service. Sermons take scripture out of context to meet the needs of the message, but it appears to be done without intentional harm. The lead pastor is an above average speaker that is able to maintain the congregations interest. The congregation is majority white with a conservative political leaning. This church is impersonal with below average friendliness toward visitors, but provides quite a few educational groups, series, and meetups.
