American Place Casino - Waukegan (IL)

5 /5 Foster Babies: Pleasant surprise on the way back from visiting friends in IL. What looks like a big tent is actually a nice casino. Marilou at the Players Club was very helpful getting us set up with cards for our first time there. The Chicago style hotdog at one of the airstream trailers inside was very good! Another airstream has a coffee bar. The interior is decorated with canoes and paddles. There are three different restaurants on one end and a sports book on the other end. They had a nice variety of slot machines and even a few weve never seen before. All in all a pleasant experience.

5 /5 huby pan: Well-trained friendly staff makes the casino experience great. Players club, security, cashiers, table games team and reasonable limits made craps playing fun. Ive enjoyed every visit and only fifteen minutes away too!

I was initially drawn in by the beautiful, changing lights on the building’s exterior, and once inside, I found the atmosphere to be incredibly welcoming and friendly. As a first-time visitor, I felt right at home. I even had a bit of beginner’s luck, winning $40 from a $5, I even had a bit of beginner’s luck, winning $40 from a $5 try, and even though I lost a bit after that, the whole experience was just pure fun. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking to have a good time and try something new in Illinois!

Took a reasonable amount of time for the eyes in the sky to track it down but definitely saved me headache and money to get a replacement. Beware of the sports area comfy couches! Double check your pockets. I shall be coming back for more fun and games. Food at the restaurants is good and the drink prices are very reasonable. 5 stars all around and good luck to you all.
