4 /5 Brittney Rose: Lets talk food first. It was on point. Absolutely delicious. The risotto was divine. Done perfectly. Their salmon is the best Ive ever had. The filet melted in my mouth. Everything about the food was perfect. The drinks were excellent.
Our server was very smooth. Friendly and professional, stopped by the table just enough. He wasnt overbearing or bothersome.
I was surprised and disappointed that the first set of dishes we received werent clean. We had to tell the waiter to bring new ones.
The atmosphere left a lot to be desired. The place felt like it was trying to be fancy, but it didnt quite hit the mark. The outside gave a more upscale feeling than the inside. We werent greeted when we walked in. It took five minutes for a waiter to notice us standing there. Mind you, we had a reservation. When the hostess finally greeted us, it was a bit of a letdown. I expected her attire and demeanor to be of a higher caliber. It didnt make the greatest first impression. The lighting felt too bright for fine dining, and the music was WAY off. The bathroom was clean, but there was a sign on the counter saying do not sit, which lowered the quality of the surroundings.
I dont know that I would go again. The food really was great, but for the price point, I expected a higher quality environment and a total experience. I was disappointed.
I gave four stars instead of three because 3.5 is not an option, and the food was too good to be rated lower than that.
