3 /5 Traveling Mntngal: We were staying in Jacksonville for the night. Applebees was convenient to our hotel. It was mid-week and not busy. We were greeted right away, but there was a very funny, unappetizing smell, like dead seafood, permeating the entire place. Other than that, the place seemed clean, though well used. The waitress was nice. We ordered the 2 for $30 6 oz top sirloin dinners. Got our salads right away. Bowls filled to the top with iceberg lettuce, chopped tomatoes, shredded cheese, and croutons (house salad). My husband said his tasted like soap. The steaks were tender with good portions of potatoes and fresh broccoli. I had to give an overall of 3 stars due to the bad smell of the place. It did affect my meal a bit. This is my honest review. Ill also show pics of the menu we had for the last week of June 2023.
