Big Apple Family Restaurant - Princeton (IL)

5 /5 Aragon Cricket: A small but wonderful diner with a fine atmosphere and delicious food. I bought a gyro skillet that came with a side of greek yogurt and rye bread as well as some blueberry waffles. Atmosphere was great, the owner was kind and I was even allowed to park there with a large vehicle with zero issues. Place was packed but still received my food fairly quickly. I have zero complaints and would go again if I ever stopped by.

5 /5 David Mordt: As soon as we walked in, we were greeted old friends. The gentleman greeted each customer, most he knew by name. The waitress, Nicole, was always smiling, friendly and attentive. I ordered the hobo skillet. Eggs were cooked exactly the way I ordered and the gravy was down home. The place is outdated but clean. Prices were reasonable and portions were excellent. I’ll be coming back anytime I’m in Princeton!!

4 /5 Sudeep Davis: Old school Family owned diner. Owner and our server were nice. Food was decent. Place needs an upgrade but other than that, people seem to enjoy the food. We ordered the following Breakfast Chicken Skillet 6.8/10 Veggie omelet with hasbrowns 6.5/10 White bread toast was good. Would consider visiting again

5 /5 Ethan Wilson: This is the half way point between home and my family. We couldnt spend Christmas together this year, so we met here for Christmas eve to exchange gifts. The staff were so kind and attentive, the food was excellent, and we had a blast laughing and playing card games at our table. We all truly appreciate the time we had and the service staff for allowing us to make so much joyful noise in this perfect little family restaurant. - The 5 Happy Hoosiers

4 /5 Laura Hewitt: A little dated, but pleasant and just right to sit and talk. Which was just what we wanted. I had the julienne salad. It was huge! I only managed half because I wasnt expecting something so large. Fantastic ratio of meat and cheese to salad. Others had the seasonal pancakes which they found almost crepe thin and just okay. They did smell wonderful though.
