5 /5 Dr. M Shamsuddoha: I recently visited Indian Grill House in Quincy, IL for lunch after hearing that they opened not too long ago. As a Muslim, I’m always cautious about what I eat, and I noticed the restaurant has a bar inside and no visible Halal certification. While they may serve Halal food, having clear signage or certification would help build trust with the Muslim community. If you want to cater to diverse customers, especially those who follow dietary restrictions, transparency goes a long way.
We tried their biryani, but the staff didn’t ask about our spice preference—and unfortunately, it was far too spicy for our group. We could barely finish a third of the portion and had to take the rest home.
That said, I’m not writing this as a negative review—just some feedback. I believe in supporting local businesses, especially new ones. I wish the team all the best and hope they consider aligning more closely with the needs and values of the community. Good luck and thank you!
