La Mex - Pontiac (IL)

1 /5 Lynn Lloyd: No sauce on my chimi. No lettuce, salsa, anything on the side but a small dallop of sour cream. Beans were plain, not even sprinkles of cheese. Also I was told my gift card had zero dollars on it....but I had never used it. Makes me assumme that they zero them out after a certain unknown point in time.

4 /5 mysilohana mysilohana: Good food and certainly good portion size. The service was good as well. They apparently stay pretty busy. However, their parking lot needs to be repaired badly. Huge deep holes!!! So drive with caution.

5 /5 Robert Tock: I enjoyed a combo fajitas which was excellent. I normally skipped the tortilla but they also looked very good and hot. We arrived shortly before closing time but the staff was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!!

5 /5 KartaPurkh Khalsa: Food (Quesadillas) was excellent (I even enjoyed the leftovers the next day!). Staff friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable. Vegetarian food was available. Not overpriced. Would recommend it to anyone.

4 /5 Nick Sanazaro: The Botana La Mex was a tasty appetizer. The main dishes like the Steak Fajitas and Chimichanga lacked flavor and spices. The kids meals were average. Chips and salsa were below average. Bland and limited salsa quantity. Great quality of food. Friendly and attentive service.
