McDonalds - Salem (IL)

1 /5 Clint: 12/2/2025 My family and I came in for dinner. There is five of us and four of them ordered nuggets. I ordered a McRib meal. We found our seat and our number got called which is unusual for this location. They didn’t put onion on the sandwich because they are out of them. Don’t worry about telling us when we ordered but okay the manager was awesome and brought some tiny ones to the table. I took one bite of this McRib and that joker was raw and I don’t mean undercooked I mean raw as in not cooked. I don’t leave reviews but this location stinks. Night shift is terrible the service the food the parking lot. Day shift is top notch here but boy that night shift ain’t worth eating at. We won’t come back for dinner. The manager on duty was fantastic. Suggestion= if you want McDonald’s drive to mount Vernon because the Salem location is absolutely terrible.

1 /5 OGxKingKlutch: By far the worst place to eat in salem, if you go through the drive through you will wait atleast 15 minutes. When you get to the second window to get your food you will see the female manager grabbing all over her co worker who im guessing is her girlfriend. Every worker has a phone in theyre hand and they will most likely get your order wrong causing you to have to either go back through and wait about 15 minutes minimum or just call it a loss

1 /5 Guy Male: Horrible service. Came in drive-thru Friday May 23 at 9:35 PM. Ordered a 10 piece chicken nugget meal and a chicken sandwich deluxe meal. The girl gave me my drink which was supposed to be a coke. It tasted like diet coke. I told her and she told me she mixed it up with her drink and she was only drinking diet now that she was on a diet. She gave me another drink that ends up tasting like diet as well. We get down the road and we had a spicy mcchicken with cheese instead of the 10 piece chicken nuggets. The fries were salty. My girlfriend was afraid to drink her high c orange drink. No receipt given. We came in Sunday May 25, 2025 at approximately 6 PM to resolve the issue. The young manager told me she couldnt replace the meals and she would get in trouble. She only gave us 1 drink and the 10 piece. I called McDonalds customer service line and was given a ticket number. Extremely upset. Terrible service and got lied to! Do better.

5 /5 Michael Kline: Got the big breakfast with hotcakes, which is my favorite McDonalds breakfast choice because of all the food you get for just $6.99. It comes with pancakes, sausage, eggs, hash brown, and a biscuit. The employees were nice and one of them helped take our picture. When we got here they were cleaning, which I appreciate because no one likes a dirty restaurant.

1 /5 Alex Wilson: Ordered the number 2 and 9 meals and go no fries, no extra pickles and no sauce that we asked for. Was charged for the full meal as well. Burgers looked like they were just thrown into their containers. Definitely not worth almost $23
