The Italian beef was packed with flavor, the fries were hot and crispy, and service was fast and efficient even when it was busy. It’s a reliable go-to spot when you want a solid, satisfying meal.

We were blessed to have a great first experience here in Illinois, especially with these two staff members, who made our trip amazing. We’ll be back someday I’m sure.

1 /5 Kim Hammerton: Our food has been inaccurate when ordering from this Portillos thru grub hub and/drive thru. I placed an order today for chicken tenders, small fry, bacon cheeseburger, and two eclair cakes. What I received was two dipped Italian beef sandwiches!! Unacceptable Portillos!! Orders should be checked and accurate!

5 /5 Nick: Always wanted to try the legendary Portillo’s and this one was in a convenient spot to get it. First thing I noticed was the great decoration and atmosphere inside here. Looks really cool and well thought out. The food was great. Italian Beef was unique and tasted amazing. Very juicy and beefy. Fries were good as well and came out super hot. Hot dogs were also solid. Service was very quick and they loudly tell you with a kind of funny slogan to go along with your name that your food is ready. The chocolate cake shake was pretty good too. It starts off a bit grating since it literally tastes like you’re drinking cake, but as the ice cream melts it becomes more like a normal shake. Would recommend stopping by if you’re visiting the Chicagoland or Illinois area.
