5 /5 Remote Hog: First time here. The food was Great, the service was stellar and we will be back! My wonderful husband took me here for my birthday dinner. What a wonderful place to have a yummy Mexican meal. The food so so good, just the right amount of heat and not too salty like other Mexican restaurants I have been to. The options were so vast and I ordered the grilled shrimp dinner. It was so good and the shrimp were cooked just right. The portion was so big that I took half of it home with me. My husband opted for a HUGE burrito. I was impressed that he was able to eat it all. If you are in the mood for Mexican food, do your taste buds a favor and drive out of town a bit and eat here. So dang Good! I cant wait to go back.

5 /5 Tina D Corter: Quit dining close to the freeway and go south about 10 minutes!! This Mexican Restaurant is definitely better than most. The Chimichanga was the best my husband EVER had (and he has had many). It was chock full of beef, chicken, and shrimp! The flavor and tenderness of the meat was incredible!

2 /5 Brandy Meier: I love Mexican food. So while in Effingham thought Id try this place. I was not impressed. The chips were stale, the salsa was bland. Needs some cilantro and garlic. Very tomato. Ordered the enchiladas supremas. It came with one bean, one cheese, one chicken, and one beef enchilada.. the beef one was so bland and mushy, like cat food. The cheese one was ok, but Im not a fan of the type of cheese used, but wont hold that against them. The bean one was ok, but again bland. The surprise was the chicken one, it was actually pretty good. It had flavor and was moist, not dry like sometimes chicken can be. Overall. Not great. There are better places for Mexican food in Effingham. I will not be back.

5 /5 L Dave: Three of us stopped here around 12:30pm on a Wednesday. They were packed with customers, which is usually a good sign the food is great. We ordered three separate dishes. The staff immediately brought out the chips and salsa. Throughout the meal, the staff was very attentive to our needs. The food was fantastic, hot and fresh tasting. Overall, we would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, and we will be stopping back there whenever we are in the area.
