4 /5 Jenna Ritz: Ah, no chicken 65. Sad. Other dishes, chicken biryani, butter chicken, lamb, pekora, naan, and others were tasty and generous. A little heat escaped into the dish of our capscasin- phobe. He survived without having to call in the yogurt reinforcements.
There is no ice in your water, fine in the winter or if you havent overindulged in vindaloo. Come summer and vindaloo, you might want some. Can us Yanks not be accommodated in our obsession with ice in our water and beverages? We know it isnt as hot as India, but we really dont know how to cope without a bit of brain freeze.
We shared kheer among the four of us. It mildly hinted of cardamon and other spices. While it wasnt as rich as kozyshack rice pudding, the flavors were gently nuanced. It was lovely. Nevertheless, I could destroy a whole container of kozyshack, and my craving for kheer was merely tamed. I wish there was a bit more.
Reminding me, does anyone local serve Haldi doodh?
The restaurant is clean, and very open. Cricket was playing in back of me. I did want to watch, but didnt want to get a crick in my neck. We got there at 8:30 pm for a late dinner. Nevertheless they were cleaning up and sanitizing the floors by 9:50, as we were finishing. I personally dont mind the aroma of disinfectant, it reassures me that sanitation is important to the establishment. Not everyone agrees with me.
