3 /5 Cary Miller: I dont want to rain on the parade, but I dont understand what all the hoopla is about. To be completely honest, my steak was dry and tough the first time I ate here. I dont know if it was overcooked or of poor quality. The rest of the food was mediocre and the service was okay. Anyone can have a poor performance and judging by the more positive reviews from others maybe my experience was a fluke. Therefore, Ill give Pottsies another try and if its better Ill up my rating. Well, I gave it another try. I went for their signature steak, the marinated ribeye for $20. The steak is large but the size is deceiving. Much of the outer portion is fat and or gristle. The inner portion is good but Ive had more tender and better tasting steaks. It was good but in my opinion not a steak Id spend $20 on a second time. The place was busy but the service kept up and was very good. Judging by the large number of people dining here, a lot of people must like it. Sorry though, I guess Im just not a fan. Now Ive since had some other menu items and they have all been good. The marinated steak horseshoe is fabulous
