2 /5 M S: Place is different these days. Manager was rude to me when I pointed out how theres plastic in the food. I told them how uncomfortable it made me. I didnt appreciate how I was talked to. The staff is nice but I definitely wont order to go ever again. Weird. There is a difference between hot and scolding hot. Like my post is you can agree theres a difference between hot and scolding hot. I actually remember they used to put foil inside of these. Strange

3 /5 George Beckett: Service and speed are top notch here. The food, not so much. We ordered an appetizer of onion rings and while they werent bad, they had zero flavor to them. I ordered the breakfast shoe and everything tasted as if they cooked with sugar. Gravy, biscuits and the hashbrowns had a horrible sweet flavor. The bacon was cooked perfectly but I couldnt taste the eggs through the sweetness. If I wanted a sugary breakfast, Id had ordered the pancakes. Not sure if there was a mistake in cooking today or what, but the food today definitely wont make us hurry back. Keep up the good customer service while trying to improve the product

5 /5 Faythe2Faythe: Food was great. They were busy and the one waitress had her hands full and did the best she could. Our food came out fast, but we had to wait a little long for the ticket. The hamburger was amazing! Possibly 1/2 lb hand formed and cooked to perfection. Also had a BLT on rye, very tasty. One person in our party asked for NO onions on his breakfast slammer, but they were easy enough to scape off. There were 5 of us. One had grilled cheese, and one had an omelet made to order, just right. Interesting decor... Everything on the walls and shelving was for sale! Fun! Plenty of parking and easy in and out for our RV.

5 /5 M.E. Hope: Have you ever been greeted by almost everyone in a restaurant? Me, neither, but it happened here. Staff and patrons alike. We stopped here for breakfast after researching places on the way to Springfield. This little cafe is right off Hwy 55, loads of parking and plenty of seating. We split a 3&3 omelet (3 eggs, 3 meats with cheese) and got biscuits with that and a side of gravy. Everything was hot; the omelet could have been fluffier, but no one could argue with the amount of meat and cheese. The biscuit was fresh, and the gravy good -- needed some salt and pepper -- with good chunks of meat too. Great prices, great service, and good coffee too. Rt 138 Cafe again? Yes, please.
