1 /5 Ronda Easton: I don’t like posting negative reviews for a business trying to succeed, but I feel this needs to be shared.
I called ahead to ask about the buffet and was told it was a prime rib buffet and that it was open. When we arrived, there was one waitress and one other family in the building. The atmosphere was very still—minimal lighting and no background music.
The “buffet” at that point consisted of a salad bar, mashed potatoes, and corn. Our waitress explained they were “working on the prime rib.” We asked about appetizers and were told the only option was potato wedges—something we weren’t informed of until we asked.
We decided to have salad while waiting. About 45 minutes later, fried chicken was brought out, still no prime rib. Our waitress refilled our drinks once during the entire hour we were there. At one point, a larger party came in, and we overheard someone assisting them say that “the party was his priority.”
After waiting an hour with no sign of the prime rib we were told would be there, we left $20 on the table and walked out. Communication and service were extremely lacking, and unfortunately, this experience left us very disappointed.
