5 /5 Joshua Fiedler: We ended up at Texas Roadhouse last night pretty much on a whim and it turned into one of those meals that just hits all the right notes. I ordered the ribeye and she went with the filet, and honestly both came out perfect. Mine had that char on the outside and was still juicy and tender when you cut into it, and her filet basically melted without even trying. Sides were spot on too, which feels rare these days.
Our server, Danny, deserves some real credit. He was moving non-stop but somehow kept our table dialed in the whole time. Drinks never ran dry, checked in exactly when he needed to, not hovering, but just right. It makes such a difference when someone actually pays attention, and you could tell he cared about doing a good job without forcing it.
Between the food, the energy in the place, and the service, the whole night was kind of a blast. We both walked out talking about how we didn’t expect it to be that good. Definitely earned a return trip.
