5 /5 James Nahach: We stopped in here in the morning after staying at the Benton Motel overnight. This was a very friendly, homey small town restaurant. The wait staff was kind and seemed to know many of the customers. It was like going to your friend or families house as opposed to a restaurant.
As far as the food, my wife loved her coffee. She said her breakfast was the best meal we had on our 4 day trip. She had an omelette in a spinach wrap. I had a ham, cheese and egg croissant sandwich. It always was very delicious. We got a frosted cookie and chocolate brownie for the road. A must stop if you are going to or by Benton, Illinois.
