5 /5 Jim Speiser: This is one of those places political correspondents will visit to get local flavor and opinions before an election. At first we were going to complain that the waitresses seemed to be spending an awful lot of time on the phone... But it turned out that one of their long-time regulars, a 90-year-old man, had not shown that day, and they were trying to track him down to make sure he was okay. Talk about service above and beyond!

5 /5 Gerald Williamson: Excellent food. Kind, friendly service. Who could ask for more? Their Superman breakfast was perfect. I hope Metropolis is in my future again so we can eat here again (and my wife agrees! )

5 /5 John Groth: I try and find local "mom & pop" places while traveling. This was by far my favorite place I visited, the few days I was in town! When I walked in, it was obvious based on the amount of people that were already seated and eating, this place was going to be good. I was greeted by a very nice woman, who is a daughter of the original owner(s), and she couldnt have been nicer. She made me feel welcome immediately. The food and coffee was delicious. I had biscuits and gravy, with two eggs and bacon. Very good, filling and comforting on a rainy chilly morning. All for a reasonable price too. Thank you Seria and family, Ill definitely be back again, bet time Im in town!

5 /5 Isabella Strowig: We stopped in for breakfast while headed home on a multi-state road trip. The lovely woman was doing it all herself and was still friendly and offered mushrooms in our haystack because we cant have meat. We were Stuffed!! It was delicious and we are so glad we stopped in to eat. Thank you so very kindly!!
