JackJ S Great food (Cinnamon roll French toast was excellent and the regular cinnamon roll looked excellent) & service! Manager was accommodating and waitress was super nice even though we had a large group (and had forgotten to get a reservation for the large group). She kept on top of things, made sure we were well taken care of, and we didnt feel like a burden. The shop there had a lot of cute items, and some very useful items (such as cracked hands cream that we got).

Isaac Medina We came in and got seated instantly. The waiter (MICHEAL) came and introduced himself and got started on the drinks. He told is that the pizzas were really good. And that the cheese came from the Amish nearby. We got a pizza, my wife got lasagna and I got a baked cod. The pizza was better than he said and my added it has the perfect crust crunch. The cod was absolutely delicious and my wife enjoyed the lasagna... definitely an amazing place to try. Its one my wife and I will be returning to.

Tony Ortale I LOVE this place. Been a few times, and each experience gets better and better. The menu has great variety, and everything Ive had is done well. I did a flight of 8 beers, plus 4 different *free* samples this time... and they might be my favorite brewery now! Love this historic building, and our server Megan was an absolute blast, so I had to write a review. Were not from the area, but this is officially a must visit if were anywhere close in the future!

Tim Swiat We had a Retirement Dinner here last night and there was not one empty plate in sight! Started with the Bruchetta and Duck Dates...wow. A huge miss if you dont at least try one. While tough to pick a favorite, I think the Bruchetta was the winner. Fresh, crisp vegetables and the right amount of char on the bread. As for entrees, Scallops, Salmon, Filet Mignon, 22oz Bone-In Ribeye, and the 16oz Bone-In Buffalo were all well-enjoyed. While I very much enjoyed the Filet Mignon, I slash able to sneak a bite of the Buffalo, and there is the winner! Perfectly seared and lean...outstanding. Took home the Key Lime Pie to share at home, and so glad I did. Amazing and attentive service, great atmosphere, and cocktails to enjoy well-prepared. Looking forward to visiting again when in town. Talon Windwalker What a great experience! Food had great flavor and seemed to be really great quality. Lots of great options. Some great cocktails. Service was really good. If youre going to the hibachi on a weekend, youll want to make reservations. We sat in a different location, and when we were leaving there was quite the number of people waiting.

Michael Burlington I just had dinner at JMK Nippon’s Japanese restaurant, as I’ve done many times over the past 40 years. My family absolutely loves this place, and we’ve created countless memories here—celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, New Year’s Eve, and more. Over all these years, we’ve never had a bad experience. The food is always excellent, the service consistently friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere remains warm and welcoming. This time, Diego was our chef, and he was both entertaining and skilled—making the experience even more enjoyable while preparing a delicious meal. JMK Nippon continues to be one of our favorite places to dine.

Cameron We ate dinner at Tavern on Clark a few days before Christmas. It was an excellent experience. The service was fantastic and the food was great. We were a party of nine and they were more than willing to accommodate us. Our server was very friendly and attentive to our table. I would definitely come back here again.

Missy Muente We went with a group of us and sat at the bar. The host and bartender were both very friendly. Great craft beer selection. Best apps; the cheese curds and nachos. I had the Reuben and it was delicious; so much corned beef! Fun bar decor and also great to-go beer options.

Brian Our dining experience at Franchescos Ristorante was simply fantastic from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the warm and elegant ambiance, enhanced by the live piano music, transported us to a classic Italian setting. It struck the perfect balance of classy and comfortable, making it ideal for a special birthday night. The service was decent. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and timed each course perfectly, ensuring we never felt rushed. The drink delivery was a bit slow maybe due to being a busy night. Now, the food – absolutely mouth-watering! We started with the recommended bruschetta appetizer, which was a delightful burst of fresh flavor. For the main course, I had the veal marsala, and it was hands-down the best Ive ever had; it truly melted in my mouth. The entire experience was a testament to the restaurants commitment to quality ingredients and traditional family recipes. Franchescos is truly a gem and is now at the top of my list for dining in the area. Whether its for a special occasion or just a treat, I highly recommend it for anyone seeking an extraordinary Italian meal and wonderful service.

Pam Andresen The gyro,AMAZING!! Couldn’t eat half of it. The Italian beef, tender and delicious! We drive 2hours every few months to get them! Go now! But today they had no forks?? How does this happen? I’ve never eaten a salad with a spoon before but made it work cuz the dressing is delicious.

Ryan Kohl I have been driving past Alpine View Restaurant for years always thinking to myself, "I should stop in there" but never had. Finally, I did stop and this has become my new favorite go to spot. I love breakfast food, and their breakfast all day policy is on point. The staff is incredibly helpful and never leave you hanging. They hit a perfect balance of checking and also letting you enjoy your meal / conversation / peace. They never let your coffee cup empty. The quality and amount of food is outstanding. Everything is fresh and delicious and I usually always have leftovers to bring home. My standard diner order of a veggie omelet with cheddar cheese and extra crispy hashbrowns are PERFECT from here. Prices are fair considering quality and quantity. The atmosphere is on point as well, its a mix of all ages and everyone seems to know each other. This place feels like home and my and my girlfriend tend to go 2 times a week now. Dont sleep on Alpine View, you should definitely check it out.

Kristen Short Made a short day trip to Rockford to check out The Norwegian. What a delight. I ordered the Sea Bord (gravlax, smoked salmon dip, and pickled herring) and the apple chai latte. So, so fantastic. Tusen takk to the team there!
