Preaches Angel Hello Beautiful people of Freeport, I have a friend that suggested this Automotive Center to get a tire plugged. And I am pleased to say this place is Friendly and reasonable to work with. The staff was very welcoming and professional, they do have a waiting area for those that would like to wait while car is being repaired. I had really an over all great experience and will be coming back in the future. I hope if you decide to give them a try you have the same experience that I had myself.

Eric Wellman Decently priced. Took my Lexus into them for an all-wheel alignment a little while back. Havent had any complaints and would definitely return.

ABIOTIC91 I went in a little weary because of the 1 star review. But after entering and talking with Zach about what i wanted and what i had, he was extremely knowledgeable, super helpful, knew exactly what had to be done. He seemed quite excited to work on it. He told me he would go over the entire head making sure everything looked solid, which he did. Installed cams. Decked the head. Drilled and tapped 2 holes for a head drain. And cleaned everything up. And also got it done in a very reasonable time, at a reasonable cost. Great service, would 100% go back to him without question.

Steve Magee Had an absolutely outstanding experience at Bocker today getting my oil changed. From making the call late yesterday and Aprils warm and welcoming reception in the service center to having the work done this morning by Dans team in the lube center and Rob managing a last minute request for a tire rotation. I expected the cost at a dealer to be much higher than the random chain lube centers Ive used in the past but it was not. It was moreeee than competitive and in a very professional setting. This was my first time using the lube center but definitely not my last. A shout out to the men that did the work. So nice to see a few young folks with a job and actually showing up. Thank you Bocker ... Ill be back!

Philip Hundt I was in a bind with a small bolt coming out from a rear strut mount. Scott graciously took care of me and sent me on my way within 10 minutes. A clean, organized shop ran by excellent people! Cannot recommend enough! Thanks again Scott and crew!

However it was needless for me to worry, as they still provide great service, and are always friendly when I need repairs. Their fees are fair, and they complete the job quickly and correctly. They carry on the great service that I am used to from Reeds. Highest recommendation for this new ownership team.

I typically try to do my own repairs and automotive work, but if there is something I dont have the equipment for or just dont have the time, this is the place I go. I dont trust anyone else working on my cars.

abby amey Ive recently moved to the area. The hardest part was leaving my mechanic. I had him for 10 years and it took me even longer to find him. Called and spoke to Chris and worked with Josh. Both guys spoke to me like I understood what they were speaking about. Went into the shop and its my favorite kind of spot. Its right next to the garage and its in the country. The couch is worn, the prices are posted, and the mascot is pretty solid. Fair pricing, good work. My grandfather would approve. This graduate of the flashlight holders club approves. Thank you for the good work on the car and the integrity. * * Small note. This is a drop and go. If you wait, there is no public restroom. Update: I cannot create two reviews but Ive visited twice now. For the record I have a very difficult vehicle. The car started to break down and I called the shop to see what I could do at home as my car wasnt drivable. Not only that but my financial situation wouldnt improve until after I had gone to work for the week. I had simply called to see what I could do at home on my own engine. I happen to get Larry, which is the owner and here is the solution he provided to me, as I would never think to ask it. Larry picked up and dropped off my car (free each way) after his crew fixed it. He then accepted payment after I was paid. Which means the car was returned before I paid the bill. I really needed that. And when I was there the first time, the guys offered me a ride. And they took another customer home. They even post their prices. Compassionate And integrity to a fault. So, theres absolutely no reason to support another mechanic. And it isnt because I know all the other mechanics. I dont. I just came here first and itll be my last. Im never going anywhere else.* * Also, the tire sensor that has been bothering me for the past 6 months magically disappeared. As a person who cannot stand tire sensors because I understand when a tire is flat, this has bothered me to no end. I couldnt afford the fix but magically it disappeared. Again and amazing mechanic and crew. Thank you.

Jeff Curtin We had a wonderful experience with this shop! The work was diagnosed and fixed extremely quickly and while we waited, we were given water and their tow truck took us and picked us up to get food in town. The price for the work was more than fair and everyone was very friendly and professional!! We would definitely recommend them!

Wendy Slaten My insurance company recommended this place so I took their advice and went there. Thats where my story should end I went by and took some pictures of it sitting out in the parking lot on a rainy day with a window missing for who knows what reason so I place a phone call and they tell me its because I need to paint that door which had no damage. I later find that theres a leak in my transmission fluid on the lines that are on the bumper that they were working on. First of all its not their fault they said probably something that had happened prior to no thats not the truth they had explained to me that if something came up that also needed repair that that would be an added cost and would be billed to my insurance company and then never made note of it therefore I know it was their fault. I know I have an older vehicle but it never leaked fluids not at all never. The paint job was horrible. I wouldnt refer an enemy to them. I have to take it back to them to have them look at it with my insurance company. The paint job is orange peel and he says he can buff that out and make it look like the rest of the car

karrie lohr Went for an estimate, guy took photos said he would get back to me with an estimate and the name of a guy who could fix 2 small dents for me for cheaper than they could do it. Never heard back. Never got an estimate. I called and the office lady said they would get back to me (this was a week later) they never did. My husband called, she claimed they were having computer issues and they would call back, they never did. We went to Hesgard instead, they got back to me the same day and were a great company!

Jeff Dan and the Team at Freeport Metal Specialties are incredibly helpful and skilled at what they do. Their quality of work and attention to detail set them apart and really blew me away. The paint and clear coat work made the car look like it just rolled off the showroom floor! I would definitely recommend giving them a try if youre looking for a quality repair.

John Schmit Been here several times for oil changes and tune up, stopped by Saturday with brake light flashing and also was due for oil change so wanted to get both taken care of if possible. Took 1/2 hour to get started even though I was the only customer, the lady in the office took a couple of pictures of the brake calipers on the front showing signs of leaking. While the owner was changing the oil she prepared a quote for the brake repair and told me the quote was good for 30 days. Meanwhile they finished the oil change and back my vehicle out, I asked if it was safe to drive like that and was told that I should get brake fluid and keep it in the vehicle because when it gets low enough the brakes would not work at all. I asked if they had topped it off and the owner said no because it would just eventually leak out. They have my records and address and know that I live an hour away but sent me on my way with a low level of brake fluid, I new that I would have to make an appointment to have the brakes repaired but couldnt believe that the owner didnt top off the fluid.

Michelle Jaeger I have used this location several times for auto repairs and oil changes. I have never had any issues. The owner and his workers are honest and don’t try to sell me unnecessary repairs. The prices seem fair. I wouldn’t hesitate to use again in the future.

Matthew Knoll We were passing through on our way to our camping destination and needed to replace the mass airflow sensor unexpectedly. The staff was super helpful and gave us everything we needed to get the job done quickly. Would highly recommend this store to anybody.

Heather Slater My dad brought his truck to get the batteries replaced. The Store was very clean, the employees were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They took the time to replace another battery in a different truck, along with help making the battery safe to stay where it should be…. Didn’t charge no extra, nothing. Definitely would give more than 5 stars if we could!!! Will be repeat customers

Latia Morris Kenny seemed to be an awesome business man upfront. He was great on time management and really responsive to calls and voicemails. I had a damaged front bumper and requested that he put a new bumper on my car. He quoted me 1,400. Kenny got me in the shop fairly quickly and had my car done in 3 days. When I picked my car up he said my bumper was brand new. A few days later I had my car lifted at a high quality body shop and they stated the bumper was in fact the same bumper and had been rigged back together. There is so much build up of glue and plaster behind the bumper, it looks a total mess and I now have to pay to actually get a new bumper. I wasted 1,400. It’s safe to say, I will never return here again to have my car repaired. I am extremely disappointed in the body work and upset that the owner was not honest with the work that he did on my car. I had to call to receive a receipt, that I am still waiting on them to send over to me. Spend the extra money and go to a better quality body shop!

April Roxtar I am so impressed with the level of service this body shop provides. I hit a deer with my Grand Caravan and Ken fixed it better than new. He even gave me information about my vehicle that I never would have been able to know myself. Highly recommended for the area!

Freeport Autoclinic We have been doing business with Stateline for 10+ years and they are very competitively priced. They are very experienced in automatic transmissions, manual transmissions, and transfer cases. They have always taken care of any warranty issues, but in most cases the transmissions have zero problems.

Jason Barry It took months to get my truck back. Within a few weeks the transmission went out again so I took it back. He tried saying there was blue silicone on it and that he doesnt use blue silicone. In the end my transmission worked but my check engine light comes on because of the torque converter and he couldnt fix it. I wish I had read these reviews.

Trisheena Jackson-Grant DO NOT use this shop. I took my durrango to them for a head job. They told me i would have my truck back in a week. A month later I had to take off work and im drive up from out of town because owner would not answer my calls or text messages. I arrived to find half my engine in the back of my truck. Had to have towed to a storage lot and shipped back home. This was the worst customer service ever.
