    • Cristy & Tierney’s Hair Studio - Beardstown Ashley Frintrop: I took my son to have his hair cut, it was a new place so of course he was a little scared. The woman made him sit on books that were SLIDING out from under him and when he continued to slide down she became impatient with my son and started aggressively buzzing his hair, digging into his head with these clippers so obviously he shrinked down and she continued to butcher my sons hair making comments about it turning out bad and uneven! When I told my child he should’ve sat on my lap, she AGGRESSIVLEY yanked my son off the chair and held onto his arm with a grip , I then told her not to do that and to let go of my son! Which she did not! I had to remove her hand from my sons arm!!! She then CLIPPED his ear TWICE even after he said she was hurting him! I would never recommend anyone to go here and will NEVER be back!!!!!
    Valeries Salon, Spa & Boutique - McHenry Willow Jergensen: I just visited this salon today in search of a quality nail tech and I finally found her! Leslie did such a fabulous job and I am so pleased. I have thick thumbs and pretty large nail beds and she was able to master the art of making my hands look longer and thinner! Leslie communicated very well and it was a great combination of letting her be the artist but she also listened to me and the outcome is nothing short of just amazing! In addition, they do hair, eyelash extensions, facials and waxing and even more. They also have cute little items throughout the salon boutique style for sale. I am very happy with Leslie and her skills we have already set up my next appointment. LOVE this place!
    Elle Vayda Salon - Fox Lake Susan Gruenke: Katie at Elle Vayda deserves 11/10 stars. I have been super hesitant to go anywhere for my hair, but in preparation for my wedding, I know I needed to. Katie came highly recommended by my sister and she is worth the hour drive I make to see her. Her experience and knowledge shows and on top of that shes one of the sweetest people ever.
    enhancing your beauty salon - Homewood Jadon: Decent work, but Latishia Green is GREEDY and UNPROFESSIONAL. I came in from an online booking for a two-strand and she thought I was coming for a retwist. I was 8 minutes late but not past the 15 minute grace period on the site. My hair was not detangled so I accepted the $25 SHE SAID she would charge to do so. I sat in the chair while she argued and chatted on the phone. Afterwards, she proposed that I owed her more than the service listed on the site. Then pulled up a $50 detangling fee instead from the $25 she said she charges to use as leverage to get the increased price for the entire service. She claimed I got a “deal”. I paid what she felt she owed, and more than originally posted, and refused further business at her establishment to which she responded “Thank God!” sarcastically… (Response to the reply below) Like I said, I was 8 minutes late and paid whatever YOU felt you were owed. I pulled you to the side as I was leaving and kindly told you what the pricing said on your website for a two strand. YOU sat down, said “Okay let’s start from the beginning” and escalated the situation before I could even finish explaining to you that I was okay with paying more than the website listed, and recommended you update the website’s pricing. Never even raised my voice. That makes one of us. Move on, my rating isn’t going to change and you lost all business from me. Absolutely horrible experience.
    Teos Beauty Salon - Waukegan alex m: Came in early in the morning as a walk in. immediately got down to it. Showed an old reference picture and just said to cut it a bit longer! Even with that little description she got it exactly right, like straight out of my dreams lol. Usually am never happy with how my hair turns out but im beyond ecstatic! 10/10 (good price too $25!)

    Fleur Organic Salon of Barrington - Barrington Ali: I’ve been to the salon several times now, most recently for a haircut with Veronica. Although I wanted a relatively basic cut (long, blended layers to give my straight hair more movement), she took so much care and her attention to detail is impeccable! She dry cut my hair, which I’ve never had, and it’s never looked better. I absolutely love my refreshed cut, and will definitely be back to see her. Thank you Veronica!!
